"Strolling Chop Cup:
Smile inducing surprises become explosive reactions with this simple, elegant, and nearly sleight-less routine.
In this 3 phase in-the-hands historic cup and ball performance, you deliver a delightful show that spotlights your spectator, showering them with all the credit.
No table? No problem! This routine takes place right under their nose. They travel with you through each phase as the ball passes through the cup, through your hand, and through theirs. Finally, with the help of their imagination, they produce a jumbo sized ball right from under the cup!
Max fun from minimal mechanics. This routine is a hit for everyone!" - Deuce Gala

👍😊👍😊
A very great routine
It really is!
The price went up since you posted this. I just purchased one today and am happy to hear your review that it's a quality product. The set is currently going for $150.
I love mine!! Hope you get as much out of yours as I have! :)
Thank you Chris!
Always a pleasure :)
I think the TCC cup has a raised area on the top, so if you rest a ball on top, it won't fall off. I have always had chops that have a recess, enabling several nice moves without chasing the ball across a table or hand.
Yeah the top on this one is flat. I like it the way it is myself, and you don't need a recess for any of the moves involved in strolling chop cup but I get what you're saying. If I'm doing a show I have another chop cup I use as well but this one is perfect for strolling. I just used the TCC cup for size reference because I know a lot of people are familiar with it.
Technically it would be the bottom. Just saying.
I practiced this with the TCC leather cup and the RNT2 mini Don Alan. Both work but I like the Mini for the "Strolling" aspect. :)
Awesome man! Yeah I agree the smaller cups are nicer for strolling. Really cool routine.
Grumleathercraft (Ari Philips) has a very nice mini leather cup. Pricey though.:)
A perfect review. I had purchased this. Initially my goal was simply to help support Michael's new venture.
Once I started to play around with it I LOVE THIS !!
That's awesome man!! I love it too! Thank you my friend :)
We appreciate the support Thom!
Nice review. I'm a huge fan of the Chop Cup. If you ever get a chance check out Danny Tong's walk around routine.
Will do man and thank you!
Another great review. Thank you for your efforts.
You're welcome!! Thank you so much :)
Chris is a gem!
@Deuce Gala Magic You are! 🙏
The green fabric is called felt. Great review. I've been performing this routine for awhile and it does get a great reaction.
Thanks! Haha I remembered the word as i was editing the video haha. It just completely slipped my mind when filming!
Thanks Joe!
Hey Chris thanks for the review. I love this one. Do you like this over the Tcc cup? Also does the bottom gimmick work both sides??
Thank you man!! I'll actually have to check for you as I only played around with it for the routine that came with it and it worked like a charm. I definitely like this one better for strolling and table hopping. For close up where I do a routine that uses both sides and a recessed top I may still use the TCC one but this one will get more use as I rarely use a Chop cup in my shows right now.
Thanks Chris!! But if there was one and only one chop cup that you could own in your lifetime, which one would it be?
Honestly it's probably going to surprise you but it's a cheap aluminum one I bought over a decade ago. I don't even remember who makes it. I think it's Bazaar De Magia.. Its like $30. I love the gimmick strength and the height of the cup allows me to perform the ball through silk into shot glass by Larry Jennings. It's the chop cup I've been using for like 13 years and I have a specific routine I've used for just as long. But with that said, I perform a lot more strolling and tablehopping magic than I do stationary close up so.. Even though that's been my favorite chop cup, I'll be using the Deuce Gala cup much much more as it's a much better fit for strolling and tablehopping. And if I'm being completely honest, the strolling chop cup routine is as powerful as it gets.. but I wouldn't use an aluminum chop cup for it. I think the aluminum one I mentioned my favorite solely because I have used it for so long and that's what I've become used to/more comfortable with.
Thanks for the insight. Ok so I am not a performer. I am serious hobbyist and I perform only at home (but I’m not an amateur, been into magic since 20 years). I want a nice leather chop cup - the strolling CC size and colour is beautiful, but it’s expensive - but I’m ready to pay that because I’m looking for just ‘one’ chop cup for myself. Keeping that in mind, which one would you suggest? The tcc or the strolling? :))
If you're a hobbyist and not performing for people I would go with the TCC because it has a stronger gimmick and a recessed top allowing you to do more moves.
