Samauelson was instrumental when Caitlin fueled the run that cut the Storm lead to 3 - passing Caitlin the ball for a made 3, catching full court pass from Caitlin for an easy layup. Time out called by Storm - Fever back from time out - Samuelson out, Wheeler and others back in - Storm goes on a 9 -0 run. Sides is intentionally sabotaging the team or is the worst coach ever. Sides constantly just says - we’ve got to get better, when is she going to get better and stop favoring players who are selfish and can’t shoot or play defense. It’s insane!
Had two of those. They got close again and sides did the same. Another big run by the Storm. It’s insufferable.
My current fantasy is that at the All-Star break they replace both Lin and Christie. She passes to Caitlin and gets pulled. She catches a pass from Caitlin and gets pulled, what is Sides even thinking other than...Caitlin can’t be Caitlin? She has to stop her from wining with her style of play because that’s not ‘how it’s done?” Like, I feel like this is part of the issue. The WNBA doesn’t want Caitlin’s style of play to be a thing. @@CCBB157 I believe that the league, as a whole top to bottom, realizes that with CC their time as activists is over and whatever power they thought they had is finished. So you see the activist coaches ranting and the activist players bullying and Sides and Boston, Mitchell and other Fever teammates are caught in the middle and the pressure is on them to not let CC succeed.

You've done all these videos about about why they're playing players that do nothing. That don't pass clark the ball and drops her passes. You're also doing vids about why they're sitting and releasing players that actually help clark and pass her the ball and catches her passes. I'm surprised with all these vids you haven't made the connection that they are trying to make Clark look as bad as possible. It's a sabotage mission. Last night 2nd quarter clark gets hot and then half time comes and they shut that down by letting her shoot twice and not drawing up any plays to get her open. Come on man connect the dots. Everyday that passes this gets more evident. You don't make these moves if you're trying to help clark grow and progress. Clark is just now realizing this and the frustration is starting to come out

You are absolutely wrong, Katie Lou also passed to Caitlin for a made three pointer, that plus her catching that pass and making the lay up was a sure sign she needed to be benched. It didn't help that she was clearly on Caitlin's side in that time out the other night. She has clearly been a very bad girl. Good video by the way.

Clark,Hull, Katie Lou , Temi , Boston. They play as a team, better defensively, only little bit worse on offense. Katie Lou is Better than Wallace defensively and offensively. This group can run with Clark. Mitchell much better offensive than Hull but she disrupts the offense and slows it down by dribbling so much and isn’t better defensively And has butterfingers. Temi better than Smith defensively and runs better. And these five are coachable.
That's a good line up. But you need Mitchell for her on ball creation for when the play stagnates. CC isn't yet able to beat her defender of the dribble and is getting doubled constantly anyway. A second side creator is exactly what is needed...so it's Mitchell or Wheeler
Another podcaster that I used to listen to had the theory that some teams keep players on the bench so they will stay healthy and can be traded.
I can see why you “used” to listen to them. The only time a player sits before a trade is usually the day of the trade.

The problem with the Fever, the WNBA, and women's basketball in general, is the same. Women, by-and-large, are ruled by their emotions and not by logic, reason, or common sense.

I've liked Katie Lou the moment I saw her play. She is a great 3 point shooter and overall player.
Could partially explain why Caitlin can't get open to shoot(that is mostly because her coach won't draw up plays for her), but also because there aren't any other shooters on the floor! If CC is the only one that can make a bucket, triple, quadruple teaming her makes sense.
I think Sides wants them to lose to make Caitlin look bad. She got rid of the best defensive player in the league. If Celeste Taylor, Caitlin Clark and Katie Lou were on the floor for at least half of every game, I guarantee they would've won at least 5 more games.

Every time I see these "professionals" just completely blow it when a pass hits them in the hands, the memory of Molly Davis one handing a pass and hitting a layup as she stumbles to the floor in the Big 10 Tournament.
Boston, Fagbangly, Katie, Hull, Clark. Best starting lineup.
Clark, Hull, Katie Lou, Temi and Boston. That's my lineup. That way the ball will move more and there is more defense. Smith and Mitchell can come from the bench when Clark is resting most of the time to keep some of the offensive intensity. Something like Popovich did with Ginobili as a sixth man (I know Manu was a way better player but the idea is similar)

I truly think as of the last close game where CC was passing it in and NOT shooting... CS is trying to burn this team into the ground. They figured it out and now she is doing everything in her power as a coach to make them unsuccessful. Its a travesty!!

I live in the Detroit area....this reminds me of what we just went through with the Pistons' Monte Williams.
A coach who didnt want to be here and initially said no, but got paid to give it a go. Williams coached like he didnt want to be here, didnt know what to do with young talent or didnt care, no chemistry between players, lineups always looked like a stab in the dark.
Ownership paid him his full contract and shipped him out after one year. Kicked the GM to the curb as well.
Owner, GM, Coach(es) hadn't been on the same page here for awhile here.
Its clear that the Fever have this problem. Pieces arent fitting together and they are not on the same page at all. They dont know who they are as a team and that starts at the top.

She doesn’t want Caitlin to shine over Smith, Wheeler, Mitchell and Wallace. Wallace is the worst play as a starter. Coach Side is in cook with the Other Coaches not sabotage CC game to win rookie of the year. The games against the Sky was very telling. As you can see the Sky Coach support their rookies Reese. Here we have Coach Side doesn’t set any plays for CC. She also sabotaged by not letting a players, whom plays well with her. This is all by design of not letting CC shine as one of the WNBA players. Trust your instincts and your eyes.

They actually have a good team, provided they have plays. Boston, Smith cutting to the paint, if Caitlin is double teamed, Samuelson could be free. If they keep moving, somebody will be free basically. Just need some set plays
Coach Sides is benching anyone that helps CC to maintain control over the team so that Coach Sides can take credit for any success.
The players are calling the shots. Coach Sides and management are catering to the group of players on the team that outnumber the small group of players that actually want the team to suceed . It happens in sports in mainstream work enviorments. Its a numbers game.

this is me speculating but i think there is a Chance Katie Lou Samuelson might be hurt and that is the reason for the low minutes. if you look at the video of the players walking before the game vs Seattle you can see Samuelson with something that looks like a Knee Brace and Also Wrist brace.
In the game vs Seattle she had that same wrist wrapped and also was wearing something over that leg that had the brace in the pregame
The problem is not Samuelson, it the coach if you want to call her that. We all know what the problem is but have to deal with it. Caitlin is stuck with Sides, at the helm at least for now but who knows. Maybe Caitlin can get traded or she can somehow get on a team that can help her get free to shoot. With two and three defenders on her and her own players trying to figure out what to do nothing is going to change.

Lou’s lack of time makes no sense. Let’s see. Best non-CC 3 point shooter on team. She’s a great passer and a particularly great in bound passer. She’s a super smart player and was super well coached at UConn. And she would totally help with spacing. Lou has consistently gotten too little time on every WNBA team she’s been on. Two time first team all America at UConn. 3rd pick in the draft. I don’t get. When she got the time in Europe, she was the league MVP.
I'm concerned. When more than one CZcamsr starts lobbying for someone on the bench to get more time, the Fever tend to cut them from the team. 😬😬😬
