- Fin and Feather takes a in depth look at the Simms Dry Creek Z Sling. After fishing this pack for six walk and wade full day fishing trips I have come up with a comprehensive review. The review is broke down into Features, Capacity, Pros, Cons, and Conclusion. This review is not sponsored in any way. I bought the Dry Creek Z Sling myself. Come with me and see if this sling is right for you.

I've got one. It's great, particularly being 100% waterproof, carries everything I need for a days fishing. The things I think it lacks are an external water bottle holder, more internal storage dividers - everything ends up in a big jumble inside and I've given up using the net holder; too hard to get the net out. I use a magnetic release instead. That's after a season of use.
Thanks fot the comment. I did one trip with my net and the magnet. I hooked it to the d ring where the net sleve is. When I tried it like that I found that the net was swinging all over the place. So I gave up on that option as well. Tight lines!
Great review. I've looked at it and the FishPond too. Have not made a decision yet. I'm also interested in both companies' larger packs. I've got a trip coming up with hiking 1-8 miles (each way) and need more space for rain gear, lunch, hydration, etc. I would also use any of the items for a boat drift bag, so waterproof is necessary.
Look at vedavoo that’s what I have they are badass
Good review!!
hahaha!!
this is one of those trick videos where there's a guy under the table handing stuff through a hole ...

Lol... It all came out of the sling pack. No trickery here.
What pack are you trying next?
