Sam the hard truth that all expats should keep in mind is that the vast majority of young women will look for a partner close to her age for there to be a real romantic connection. Outside of this special value set it most likely will be a Transactional need. I say that because no matter how one slices it, if the woman is needy in all areas of her life then it makes sense that she would gravitate towards what we all need, security, safety, opportunity, happiness , and contentment in our lives, with some comfort. The younger man will not have the ability that the older man has gained through many years of sometimes hard work, sacrifice, and commitment to achieving life goals. Men should be ready to take off the rose colored glasses and take a hard look at at what they bring to the equation and not go down the road of thinking superficially. If the man is honest with himself and understands the dynamic of a large age relationship then there is nothing wrong with marrying a much younger woman.
It has nothing to do with age. Even a woman closer in age is looking for a transactional relationship. You get their beauty and femininity that you weren't able to get in the west, and in turn, they gain access to your resources. It would be foolish to believe these women are sincere in their feelings for you.
