Technically beans are a fruit, but they are often used as vegetables. Basically the tomato thing again.

@@arieltallen5732 the bean itsself is kinda the seed of a fruit, but the whole bean with pod included would be a fruit because it grows from a flower and has seed(s) inside
well yeah, because vegetable isn't a botanical term. it's a culinary one. Fruits is both. So they're both depending on context, because they're entirely different metrics.
Are all bean types a fruit, in terms of how they grow?
@@maromania7My native language has two words for it. Although I have heard them used interchangeable, usually "fruit" is our word for culinary fruit and "vrucht" refers to the botanical term.

i love that Matt, while handing everything off to the new hosts, has been acclimatizing us to the new hosts which allows them to grow on us, then also allowing them to flourish in their own right, and now showing them off and their personality. Compared to just handing off everything abruptly and hoping we accept everyone. this is just so heartwarming. augh i really love and feel like im gonna miss all these interactions in the near/far future when mat is mostly to fully hands off the videos.

I'm a lover of bloopers. If you made an *ENTIRE* Theory (Food, Film, Game, *or* Style) video that was nothing but a clip show of bloopers from that year? I would personally hammer 'like' on that particular video *SO HARD*.

Santi's got a wholesome personality with a visible lack of filter and a pinch of silly, which leads to many pushover-Santi moments ngl
The "beans" part of legumes are botanically seeds. The "pods" encloses the seed (bean in this case) thus would be considered the "fruit"

Regional variations for the little tunes is interesting. The variation I grew up with is: Beans, Beans, the musical fruit, the more you eat, the more you toot. The more you toot, the better you feel, the more you're ready for another meal.

For Liquid death, the peer pressure thing does work! I actually pranked my great grandma by chugging one in front of her.
I've had concerned coworkers pull me aside to ask if I'm ok while chugging a Liquid Death midway through a shift. That was an interesting conversation
Liquid death actually has a really funny background on how it started. Very fascinating. The founder proved that everything you sell is just good advertising.
How do I find more of the LD lore? Their website only focuses on the Death to Plastic, which I'm all for, but the other things are hard to find

The carbonated water I've had the most of of late is Clear American, which seems to be a Walmart brand. 1 liter for like 57 cents, and the flavours tend to be pretty crisp.
I like these little sit downs with the new hosts, very cozy and we don't see them on the couch enough ❤

I'll absolutely side with Santi on the whole italian food thing. Food gets adapted all the time in different places for ease of access ingredients and local preferences. Italian things themselves were heavily borrowed from other cultures even 500 years ago. Just let people eat what they want to eat how they want to eat it.

After going through and binging most of Food Theory in preparation for this day, I have to say Santo was a such a joy in all the videos he was in. Looking forward to what the future has to offer. Love the Theorists’ way of looking at food topics and Food Theory has always been a great watch. Good luck!

For carbonated drinks with low/no sugar and a lot of taste I really like spindrift no added sugar(Not even sugar substitutes like stevia) and usually only two ingredients, the carbonated water and a juice, and it's definitely my favorite soda substitute
Amy and Santi are my favorite hosts 😭 all four are great but I'm most excited to follow these two

He's already had so many iconic moments.
The prime cake episode reminded me of how people made Gatorade bread on the Internet, and one of the things they mentioned was how small the bubble structure was. And I just knew that if there wasn't extra leavening in the cake recipe, that it'd end up dense, and having made Gatorade frosting before, I just knew that the buttercream wasnt the right option. You'd probably have had a better case doing a combo whipped cream and meringue frosting, such that there was more mechanical than chemical fluffiness.

Food Theory had honestly been one of the channels that I thought I'd be least interested in, but it's been a real surprise, and I've absolutely loved seeing the complete chaos that Santi has brought to the table, especially with Matt. While we'll miss Matt, of course, I'm really excited to see where Santi takes us!
Also, my favorite Santi moment was from the Deez Nuts video, where they introduce him half way through the video (right around the 7:50 mark) when Matt walks to his pantry and Santi is just... there, jumpscaring us. I watched it like 3 times, dying laughing. So good!

I have a restaurant near me that exclusively makes calzones. I counted and of the 31 calzones on their menu, plus the option to create your own, there are only 9 that automatically come with ricotta.
At first I was nervous about having a new host but i LOVEEEE Santi!!!!
A major part of liquid deaths creation was from vans warped tour where the creator saw musicians playing music and chugging monster wondering how they didnt get sick and seeing on closer inspection it was actually water in a monster can sold only to musicians at the time. There was also the idea that its a much more recyclable of a material using metal over plastic.

I'm pretty sure that Liquid Death *was* intended for people to not get peer pressured at the bar; not the majority of people, but some people (and particularly some punk/alt people) will try to peer pressure you if you're straight-edge (sober), and that can be difficult if you're someone who struggles with alcohol addiction or are trying to be straight-edge! The more you know!! 🌈☺️
Considering how unhinged the things that make it into the episodes are, I NEED to see the bloopers! Like... I've seen some unhinged things, but I feel like Food Theory bloopers might be able to take the (prim) cake.
Now I want to see a "wich is the best way to make stake/barbeque?" knowing that Santi is from Argentina like myself
