Clouser, Kreh, Whitlock, and Gierach. There are more, but these guys top my personal list. I love getting to see Bob tie his patterns. For the pure joy of it, but he also has all the tips and tricks that make them easy, effective, and durable. Thanks Bob, you've been part of my life for better than 30-years now.

That’s a great list! Those are some legends. Sounds like your Mt Rushmore of the sport. While some would debate, many would not disagree.

By far my favorite fly! I use them exclusively. Caught 5 different freshwater species in 2 hours, 3 days ago. Enough said! Thanks for showing this video, it’s slightly different with more information and much better quality than the other one of him I saw. Great job! 👍👍🎣

I have probably watched hundreds of fly tying videos. The instruction on this one is meticulous, with explanations of why and how and is one of the best if not the most well done video of all of them. I have a mentor Frank who uses this pattern for both Striped Bass and Bonefish exclusively and it is so effective. Just so well done Bob, thank you. Showing my appreciation by sending you a purchase of some materials. Thanks again.

Nicely made video. It’s interesting that Mr. Clouser slightly changed his way of tying in the eyes from what he did in a 2011 video by adding cradle wraps before moving on to the next step. Also here he’s using resin to lock in materials while he used 5 minute epoxy in the older video. Still one of the best flies ever designed. Thank you for this video & thank you to Mr. Clouser for his wonderful fly & tying demonstration.
