It's an amazing place with music studios, subSine academy and band rooms all wrapped around the design, prototyping and manufacturing of Instruo products. This video was recorded as part of a larger multi day visit for some other 'activities' (top secret for now) so while the large part of the tour is shot at once on a quiet Sunday you'll see a few other clips from the days prior.

Really cool to see. As someone who just started to build his modular a few years ago, I always wondered how the work behind the scenes look like for these companies. I was expecting a small team of nerds nerding away in a garage with limited resources but infinite love for the craft, but this looks like a large group of nerds with some very serious money invested in their work space, with all that gear and attention for details. Impressive.

I can't believe how you build up something like this, this place, the company, making those modules - with a handful of people at such a young age. Although this place looks a lot like my place/livingroom only a fraction of the money invested.

I dont think it can be overstated how great a place Jason and Simon have put together there. Everyone is super friendly, its welcoming and fun. It is a great place to spend time thanks for sharing such a cool video of the space!
There’s no way anyone is a more balanced combination of chill, humble and genius than Jason. I can listen to him talk about anything forever.
The creativity and sweetness of this guy comes through well in your coverage of Jason. Simon seems like a good guy as well. It's great for them to have such a lovely, functional space to call their own. With all that staff, business seems to be booming. Well done to all.

Thanks for making this deep dive into Instruo HQ. Having been fortunate to visit there back in 2019, it's extraordinary to see how far it's moved on in terms of possibilities within the building. And having known Jason since 2014, it's so encouraging to see what an inspiring set up exists for everyone there now too!
I think it was the year prior I was there, concrete floors getting poured and the space in bits as an empty shell. Impressive to see where they've taken things.

Great tour and I worked at a startup in the USA with a Whiskey shelf for bourbon and a “Whisky” shelf for the Scotch .. Pro tip: install a sign by the entrance door that says “Visitors are encouraged to bring whiskey when you arrive and leave the rest of the bottle when you depart”. That sign worked quite well for us .. 😂

In my view, Instruo have the nicest panel designs in all eurorack which also happen to be some of the best modules out there (eg: v2 Lubadh and Arbhar). Hurts my head thinking about the immense amount of work that goes into producing their modules. I don't know how they do it.

They're an incredibly hard working bunch, it's fantastic to see them do well in an amazing space.
They must be to turn an empty warehouse space into all that they have while still meeting design and production demand. Impressive nearly to the point of being daunting.

it's a pretty bonkers place in all honesty. The sheer volume of Fender Rhodes in the building is something to behold at times (people bring them in and out a bit over time).

I've been on and off with this for a while, but had a recent large studio re organisation. Not yet complete into the "dream" routings etc but working for what I need right now and way better than the v1 of the newest studio.

Need an extended drone piece based on recordings of their espresso machine. Always love to buy Instruo’s stuff when i need and can afford it, as i enjoy supporting these folks. It’s the polar opposite of how i feel about Behringer 😂

That looks like the older GMSN sequencer kitted with rainbow LEDs on the sliders.

Yep that’s my original prototype of that sequencer. It’s heavily circuit bent in the back 😂
I had to change each fader’s resistors to get the brightness as balanced as I could.
Very simply sequencer, but playable!
The panel is one of my first CNC engraving tests.

Not sure what CZcamss algo is doing to you, but I had to search for this after seeing it announced on FB.
it can be really crappy sometimes and you feel like people that want to see it just aren't seeing it.
What seems to be tried and testing is engaging and interacting with the channel. So I've been trying to like and comment on the things I like and do see in hope that I then see more of it when I come onto CZcams (as I feel like I miss out on things sometimes).

What is the module with the lit up Egyptian eye that I'm always seeing in dude's rig?! It's so cray looking... Can't read the graphics.
It's from Zelda, the Crest of the Sheikah, there's only 2 of those panels in existence I think. But the module is the first version and limited run 'tagh'.
