TXT's newest album The Name Chapter: Freefall has been one of our most anticipated album this year and when we decided to react to the first track, we NEVER expected it to be as daring as this - not in a million years. The rock sound, the changed vocal style, the unconventional melodies, and the fact that this is the FIRST track of the album ....just wow.
We cannot wait for the rest of this album - it's going to be very special, and we can already feel it!!!

It set theme "growing pain" for the album on seeing the reality of growing up

Txt is the 4th gen standard. No one is doing like them musically. That’s why they are one of my fav. group. 💙
I really loved growing pains so much, as someone who 100% had a fake Emo phase as a middle schooler I really appreciate heavier alternative or pop punk music, I think TXT did a really great job capturing the essence of the genre while still remaining true to who they are as a group
this txt album is definitely a rollercoaster ride of emotions. music-wise, this is their best and most diverse album. i’m looking forward to you guys listening to the other tracks especially 물수제비/skipping stones. txt really outdid themselves from the last album, very worth the wait for a full album 🩵
Honestly this song is already metal not "just" rock. They use power chords with their electric guitar, the vocal effect on Beomgyu's breakdown part..this is very much an amazingly well made metal track.
Txt is the most versatile group in kpop. They can sing in every genre.
This song killed me and then brought me back from the dead again. Real rock in kpop gets me SO excited as an emo/post hardcore kid.
Taehyun's vocals are so so good for this genre. I love love love how TXT challenge their vocal styles to match the genre of each song. They are constantly blowing me away. I rarely care for groups that switch genres and concepts like costumes, I usually prefer consistency, but TXT is an exception for me. They are just good at literally everything they try.

Theyre freefalling and crashing into reality in the opening of the album, how insanely cool is that😍 this album is not really a kpop album tbh, they stay true to specific genres, there is no mixture of sounds here. Very brave.
They also adjusted their vocals for each single song, their flexibility in that regard is truly mindblowing.

i knew from the very first i heard the song that this is my gonna be my favorite! skipping stones & dreamer were also my favorite, their vocals sounds HEAVENLY this is my new favorite album from them after their last album😭💕

They mixed many genres of music in the Album. FREEFALL became one of the best Album of TXT. That's why I can Clearly say, No other KPOP GROUP can do it Like them💙 They delivered every Genre so well. This is my ultimate favorite song from TXT... it's a masterpiece.
I love this album, and this song. I feels like they're really making the sound they want on the album, and I love hearing something new with tracks like this(to me at least, in the kpop I normally listen to). I used to listen to a lot of rock in school and university, so this feels a bit nostalgic too. It definitely feels like teenage angst. For me I can envision this played at dusk or nighttime on stage, and some whopper pyrotechnics when they sing the real drawn out "I'm falling"😅
I love every track for different reasons, and can't wait to hear what you think of the other tracks too!
