This is a newer song and I couldn't find any live performances, so I decided to just do a lyric breakdown of the song. When I first heard the song, I got goosebumps too fr, I listen this song when I don't feel motivated enough, it pumps me up, like this song gives me energy and I'm not exaggerating at all.
That's the best part about metal! A song that gets me super pumped up is Hit the Floor by Linkin Park. After listening to that I feel like running a mile as fast as possible 😆
totally recommend dear sputnik, eternally, and skipping stones!! 3 of the members actually have a live performance of skipping stones where 2 of them play guitar, although it doesn’t feature the entire song

This song is even better when you know it is the first track in the album and the album before that is about Peter Pan and Neverland (falling for temptation, enjoying it, later realizing something is off and deciding to leave Neverland/Temptation). This song is them crashing from Neverland (their childhood in their lore) to reality (adulthood). This is about the fall, not the landing.
I already saw recommendations for Skipping stones and Dear Sputnik, so others would be Opening Sequence, Sugar Rush Ride, Tinnitus and Farewell Neverland. I saw Eternally recommended, but be warned that the MV is 19 minutes long and the song is cut up (the MV is definitely worth the watch though). To truly enjoy that song listen to a lyrics video or their live performance on Lollapalooza.

i'm really glad you're enjoying txt's music so far, their songs are great!! next i would suggest you listen to "skipping stones", "dear sputnik" and "devil by the window".. you can find live performances for all these songs i'm not sure about the copyrights for the videos) and there's a special live clip for "skipping stones" but it's only 2mins long, that would be cool to watch as well and they also performed it in their tiny desk performance

Isn't the drop just so satisfying? I really love this song aha. They don't have any live performances of this, yet, but I'm really excited to see them perform it. Please don't get hurt driving while listening to the song, though; I'm sure your subscribers would be really sad XD I, too, listen to this really loudly in the car, though.

I really like your interpretation of this song :D it makes a lot of sense. The way I interpreted it is different, probably because I'm influenced by the premise of the album... I'll try to explain this as succinctly as possible, but TXT's big emotional through-line in their albums, if you listen in order, is that they're a story of growing up. This album, _The Name Chapter: FREEFALL,_ is about the moment that someone decides they're going to grow up and face reality, however flawed and painful it is, after having spent some time in denial simply wishing they could go back to how things were as a child. "Growing Pain" is the first track on the album, but if you consider it connected to their previous album, then it's technically preceded by a song called "Farewell, Neverland." That track describes, basically, the realization and decision that Wendy makes at the end of _Peter Pan,_ to leave Neverland where she would never grow up and instead return to real life. So with all the lyrics about falling and hitting the ground and accepting risk and pain and anguish but wanting to live as best one can in "Growing Pain," I felt that the song was about how becoming an adult--or even just getting older, entering a new stage in life--can feel like an uncontrolled descent. It's thrilling, but also terrifying, especially when you don't have anything to hold onto.
I'm not sure you would really love "Farewell, Neverland," but I admit that I don't know what kind of music you're into other than rock, metal, and hip-hop. So, maybe you would--I'm sure you would at least appreciate it, if nothing else. Still, I think a better recommendation might be to listen to the other songs on _TNC:FREEFALL._ You've already heard "Chasing That Feeling," so here's the other tracks in order:
"Back for More" (there's two versions of this song, one with the featured artist ANITTA and one with only TXT; both are good)
"Dreamer"
"Deep Down" (this one might be a difficult listen/analysis because it heavily references other TXT songs you haven't heard yet)
"Happily Ever After"
"Skipping Stones" (highly recommend this one; there's also a clip of them performing this while playing instruments live as well as them singing it live on Tiny Desk Korea)
"Blue Spring" (this was written by all the members, produced by Beomgyu, and contains a guitar performance by Beomgyu; it's a fan song)
_TNC: FREEFALL_ also contains the track "Do It Like That," which was a collaboration with the Jonas Brothers, but it feels more like a bonus track than a real part of the album and its story.

Dear Sputnik is a great recommendation! They also have a tiny desk concert with Korea that’s a lot of fun to listen to and they sing several songs not just from the rock genre. It would be a great way to hear their live vocals if you’re interested! As always, thank you for your reaction!!!

They did live versions of some of their new-album songs, including Skipping Stones, with a live band, in a Tiny Desk concert!
The lyrics for this album and the one before it specifically hit me the hardest in their discography. The themes are very connected in that they focus on choosing to grow up and change and progress as a human being and all the struggles and pain that that entails. Extremely relatable and beautifully written and performed by TXT

you should really react to the live version of this song, it's just insane
This is the first song from their most recent album The Name Chapter: FREEFALL. It was intentional as this album follows the storyline of the last album where they realized they were lured into a false paradise (Peter Pan/ Neverland concept) and decided to leave to reality and grow into their adult selves. This song gives the sense of falling and how they would feel.
That message in the song not everyone has the opportunity to :( some are just stuck in a box and trying to exist

Im still finalising that list I mentioned sending to you with song suggestions and links, but in the meantime I wanted to suggest and recommend the songs in the order below for you to react to next (would recommend listening in this order) and have provided links of what I think are good live performance videos (part of the list I'm still putting together). These are all very different from each other and what you have heard already and I would love for you to hear this variety of their music.
I know that a lot of people have mentioned their Lollapolooza performances which are amazing, but Im really hoping (and would love it) if you will take your time and will save watching those till you have heard a lot more songs and gotten to know the members and group properly. I think it will be a much more meaningful and enjoyable experience in that case, like it was when you watched Hobipolooza. You can watch clips of their individual song performances at Lollapolooza but both performances are also available to watch in full and I honestly think its the best to experience the performances in full in one go rather than broken up. A lot of the songs performed there also have other live performances you can experience first too as you discover their songs.

This was their debut song. I would recommend hearing this one early as it has great lyrics and there are callbacks to the lyrics in later songs as well as visuals and themes in MVs.
