Dear Coco, our local river has been polluted with a 100% life lost. There are many protests, lots of anger and grieving and action. A friend and I thought it would be a wonderful to honor and celebrate the river, to give thanks to her, to sit on her banks and sing to her. I lead songs at a local community choir and I thought to teach the choir a few songs and more voices could join us in our offering. I found your song in The Bird Sings song index and was overjoyed. And then THEN out of the blue YOUR video teaching thus song just arrives in my notifications. What a gift! Thank you so much. So wonderful that you will be singing to your river and bringing awareness to the matter... and including my song, lovely! Yes, I do teach an online choir! It's called the Wonderland Singers. I have 2 weekly groups. One sings in the afternoon on Tuesdays and the other in the evening on Wednesdays. Between those two sessions usually something works out as a fit for folks in any time zone. :) :) Our fall session starts up in a few weeks... woot! wonderlandsingers.com

This is great for learning how to sing in harmony, and ALSO for people like me who are learning to teach others how to sing in harmony. I love how you slow it right down and break it down to the basics, so that new harmony singers can hear and learn to sing the different harmony parts. I’ll definitely use this video as a learning resource for my future choir sessions when we sing this beautiful song again! I strive to be as natural and have as much fun as you do while teaching!
