Thanks Ajay. Today we switch and move from the laptop, that was setup in the middle of a aisle in the church to the sound booth. Also to a computer tower. We are in the process of looking into a tower that is compatible with everything we're doing, so we're looking for pretty much a gaming tower. Something that has at least an i7 processor, a GeForce Nvidia card, and 16 gigs of RAM. Now to connect all of this properly and to get the other members of The sound room up to speed on the functionalities of obs and the a10 mini pro is our next step.
I like the fact that Vmix has so many capabilities by using shortcuts, but it seems to come at a price. We recently moved from OBS to Vmix and what we lost was status lights on the Streamdeck. When changing a scene, OBS could change the color of the button as a great indicator to say that input is live, I wish Vmix could do that.
The Stream Deck got me through months of live streaming church from my study - amazing piece of kit. But, have you looked into Bitfocus Companion in place of the Elgato software? Amazing range of integrations with external devices (Atems, PTZ cameras, various audio mixers ...) and also integrations into it (so other devices can easily press the buttons). So at church I have it controlling OBS, PTZ camera, Proclaim (via MIDI) - but Proclaim is also now automating OBS scene changes via MIDI. Took a bit of figuring out but now making Sunday morning a lot smoother, with more to come once we can get the ancient Kramer video switchers replaced.
@@AJaytheCEO It takes more working out than the Elgato software, that's for sure! But has proved a real game-changer for us, especially in combination with midi-relay.
Are you running your obs and proclaim on two separate computers or all on the same pc? I am trying to automate our livestream on a separate pc from the midi out in proclaim, but not sure how to go about it
Can you do this for Telestream Wirecast as well? A number of houses of worship use it and knowing how to set up Stream Deck with it would certainly help. Thanks.

Great video as always Ajay! Quick question for you. Anyone know of a good online DAW. I want to use it to collaborate with my team. An online DAW that has at least the following: EQ, Compression, Reverb. And the usual: gain, volume, solo, automation, etc.

AJ question for you. On the ATEM pro the HDMI 3 which is going to show my mediashout presentation. Okay one of the cord is HDMI, the other end of the cord is what? Is there a configuration in the computer, or Atem or OBS that has to be made in or to used and see Mediashout?

We're using MediaShout 6 for presentations.

Yeah sadly I am not sure how to do that on the stream deck. I get the same thing when I use my XL with VMix

I have and I got it installed. I just haven't set aside enough time to properly work through it

Elgato does not work on Mac Yosemite. You need the Sierra version.

Hello AJay... Can the stream deck be used with Restream in the same fashion??
No it can't as it is web based just like stream yard. If you are using obs or vmix to stream to restream it will work but not directly
