@@AJaytheCEO Assign them that may be something i missed. I did go into the hotkeys and set them up as u did. shift 1 2 3 4 and got the plugin working.. gonna watch the video again and see if theres something i missed
Thank you for uploading this video, it was extremely helpful. I also found that if the blocked box in the properties doesn't show, you can just run OBS as Administrator, and that should sort out your permission errors.

Help. It's not working despite following your direction to the T. Shift +1 caused the Lower Third 1 box to turn red. Shift + 2 turns the Lower Third 2 box red. Pressing Shift +1 & Shift +2 will get rid of the red boxes. But no lower thirds appear on the OBS screen window. How to press Shift +1 without the red boxes? How to bring on the lower third on my OBS screen window? Thank you.
I found out that each of the four lower thirds has ten memory slots, so that actually means a total of 40 lower thirds. The problem I had today when at church; when I opened OBS to begin, the dock was gone!? Any clue on how to recover it, or do I need to reinstall completely? My home computer it's not been an issue
SIr, I have played with it and found I can use double logos at same time postioning 1 on right and 1 of the left ...this way i can broadcast my loge and then the team logo on the right. just set both to same hot key, and or activate both at the same time. what i need now it a way to put the team roster on the side and maybe even be interactive to a veiwer to scroll up or down!!!!

How can you set time stamps for each one to play after each other without having to do the hot keys every time? For my church we would only need to use lower third 1 and lower third 2. In lower third 1 I will would read "Tithes and offerings" followed by the website link. In lower third 2 would be what the title of the sermon would be. We would like to have the timing be where when lower third 1 stops lower third 2 would start and have it all loop every 5 minutes. How can this be done?

Please help.... New to all the bells and whistles of OBS. I was following along fine until the actual "test." Do I need the stream deck mini? Not sure what that is, but it's the only part of the video that I had no idea what to do. Ultimately, the test didn't show anything on the screen, so I was wondering if that was needed. The steam deck mini is just my capture device for connecting my camera to OBS you do not need that one exactly for this setup. What capture device are you using for your camera to connect to OBS?

Thank you for making this video. I wasn't able to change my video settings on OBS. It says that I can't make any changes because I have to turn down outputs. I deactivated my cameras but still can't changes on the video settings. Great video :) I have a bit of trouble with the logos. I always get the little broken image logo, despite my images being in the right folder (was the first thing I checked). Has anyone encountered something similar?
where your shows lower thirds hot key as a ula file when i down load it it comes in as a pdf and doesnt work proper i cant for life of me figure it out
Most of these are add-ons that you can easily add. I don't want to include plug-ins as everyone's setup is different. If I add anything for the bundle, I will most likely make it free or heavily discounted for existing purchasers

Hi, I still have the problem in the doc the frame N.1 is in RED and not in blu. So nothing appear int the window. If I try to read the browser-source.html is empty. There is no errors in the script log I set up all the permission correctly Do you have any idea what the problem is?
If im streaming with a remote guest and have them in another window created in OBS, can I add 2 different Lower 3rds (So I can display the different names of whomever is in the screen?
@@AJaytheCEO I have the same problem! I tried cutting and pasting it to a different folder, but still no option to unblock shows up. It showed up for most of the files except lower-thirds_hotkeys.lua, and it in fact did show up for hotkeys.js, and I clicked "unblock". Now it says "permission denied" anyway, and the hotkey won't work. I've restarted the computer and still nothing :-( help? Using Windows 10 Enterprise, OBS version 26.1.1 ...

You did not unblock the file. Right click go to properties and click unblock. If you still have issues move animated folder to a different location on your computer
@@AJaytheCEO let me try again but two symptoms I noticing. 1. The logo icon placeholder is now missing from the first setting. 2. When I enable the effect, nothing change or no effect nor text is showing up

Need help on the logo feature. I have a logo in *.png format in the obs-studio\Animated-Lower-Thirds\logos folder. I am able to select the logo and it appears in the dock. However, when I run the lower third, the default "your logo here" still appears.

@@AJaytheCEO I finally got it. I added details in the info line, then it showed up. The browser seem a bit higher than I figured, so trying to determine how to resize it.
I have been trying to get this working for hours, and it will not work. Hotkeys are working, everything is setup but when I turn on a LT it doesn't show in my browser window.
@@AJaytheCEO I got it to work finally. In the newer OBS versions you have to set the Browser source differently (You can't use Local file checkbox, which I think you showed in your video correctly I was just doing it based on some other older tutorials) Thanks brother!

You need to have information typed into both text fields to show the lower third
I have information typed in both text fields for LT 1 and 2 but none are showing

Just go to socks and custom do to make sure it is not turned off

Yes it can. Please verify that all files are unblocked, the files are not in the program files folder and you are using file path in the properties

Did you set all the files to unblocked? Where did you place the files? Did you remove the double quotes?

Make sure you have NDI outputs or any video out options turned off

I still have the Script Window Log showing: [lower-thirds_hotkeys.lua] Error calling script_load: ...mated-Lower-Thirds/lower thirds/lower-thirds_hotkeys.lua:436: C:/Program Files/obs-studio/Animated-Lower-Thirds/lower thirds/../common/js/hotkeys.js: Permission denied. Also when I add the browser source, the Blue OBS Square stating "You've added another source doesn't show up and get blank screen.

Did you unblock the files?
Also make sure you remove the double quotes in the file path

I have a bit of trouble with the logos. I always get the little broken image logo, despite my images being in the right folder (was the first thing I checked).
Has anyone encountered something similar?
You need to place the logos in a specific folder. This is the folder labeled images in the animated lower third bundle.
where your shows lower thirds hot key as a ula file when i down load it it comes in as a pdf and doesnt work proper i cant for life of me figure it out

Most of these are add-ons that you can easily add. I don't want to include plug-ins as everyone's setup is different. If I add anything for the bundle, I will most likely make it free or heavily discounted for existing purchasers

I however need some help in regards whereby when I click on my shift+1/2/3/4 the lower thirds doesnt want to appear is there a step I could have missed. I however have unblocked those files in the css folder could that also have impacted it
I've noticed this in the recent updates. Verify that the short cuts lua file is not blocked and still in the right directory folder

Hi, I still have the problem in the doc the frame N.1 is in RED and not in blu.
So nothing appear int the window.
If I try to read the browser-source.html is empty.
There is no errors in the script log
I set up all the permission correctly

Yes you can. Just use the free animated lower thirds plug in and set the location of the other lower third where you need it

Place the files in a different location like your downloads folder or documents folder
@@AJaytheCEO I have the same problem! I tried cutting and pasting it to a different folder, but still no option to unblock shows up. It showed up for most of the files except lower-thirds_hotkeys.lua, and it in fact did show up for hotkeys.js, and I clicked "unblock". Now it says "permission denied" anyway, and the hotkey won't work. I've restarted the computer and still nothing :-( help? Using Windows 10 Enterprise, OBS version 26.1.1 ...

You did not unblock the file. Right click go to properties and click unblock.
If you still have issues move animated folder to a different location on your computer

Have you tested this out with the latest OSB, not sure if I am doing something wrong but animation on the script is not work at all

@@AJaytheCEO let me try again but two symptoms I noticing. 1. The logo icon placeholder is now missing from the first setting. 2. When I enable the effect, nothing change or no effect nor text is showing up

Multiple variations can be made on each of the 4 slots. There are 8 squares under each which gives you a different variation
@@AJaytheCEO I see the slots (mine shows 10 blanks) i can click to make them highlighted but can't seem to figure out how to setup and play them. Do you have a video on this? I really appreciate your help. You have no idea how much you have played a part of getting this setup for my church.
Once you click them to select that slot you then click the slide to display them

It is probably a permissions issue in the folder you placed the files or you still have the double quotes in the path
@@AJaytheCEO there's wasn't any that shows to unblock... It's just read only and hidden column in d properties.. but I ll keep trying tho

Need help on the logo feature. I have a logo in *.png format in the obs-studio\Animated-Lower-Thirds\logos folder. I am able to select the logo and it appears in the dock. However, when I run the lower third, the default "your logo here" still appears.
Does it show in the lower third control panel?
@@AJaytheCEO Well, it kinda 'fixed' itself. I closed OBS then reopened it later....the icons stared back at me like I was an idiot LOL

The latest version of OBS broke most plugins so it is nothing on your end

You have to unblock that file and do not place it in that program files location

@@AJaytheCEO Not sure if you got my previous reply. yes, the main (top right switch is on). I toggled it on and off and even restarted OBS.
@@AJaytheCEO I finally got it. I added details in the info line, then it showed up. The browser seem a bit higher than I figured, so trying to determine how to resize it.

I have been trying to get this working for hours, and it will not work. Hotkeys are working, everything is setup but when I turn on a LT it doesn't show in my browser window.

@@AJaytheCEO I got it to work finally. In the newer OBS versions you have to set the Browser source differently (You can't use Local file checkbox, which I think you showed in your video correctly I was just doing it based on some other older tutorials)
