- Lovers Key State Park is at the heart of Florida’s natural beauty on the Gulf Coast, and boasts miles of gorgeous beaches and peaceful kayaking! The ocean is a clear aqua blue water, and you’re almost guaranteed to see dolphins and manatees on the kayak run. We absolutely LOVED this state park! Located on the Gulf Coast of Florida, just south of Fort Myers Beach, it can get crowded on weekends. Join us for some kayaking and lunch by the stunning dead trees on the beach. What a beautiful adventure!

I stayed on lovers key for 2 weeks. It was so quiet and peaceful. 10/10 best Florida stay ever!

Florida is a beautiful place! There are definitely a lot of places to see in the entire U.S. but we love our palm trees, beaches, and springs! 🌴🌊😊

It's so great to find these types of beautiful parks to enjoy. Sometimes the state parks can be even better than some of the national parks! The little spot we found by the shell tree was so nice to relax by! We're so happy you enjoyed along with us!

New sub here! This is my fave place to kayak. I see the alligators every time, even almost ran into one when I got too close to the mangroves. Ian did a number on the park but it's coming back!

Oh yeah! It was our first time. Do you go often? We were left wondering what the hiking is like, but it was just way too hot to go hiking that day.

Where you were kayaking, it looked so much like MacArthur Park which is on Singer Island in the Palm Beach area, where I kayak. I can't wait to get around to other places in Florida to kayak. I will be at two of the Springs in the coming months where you have vlogged.

There definitely is! We've accidentally snuck up on so many different things while in a kayak like the manatee. As long as it's not a surprised alligator. Ha! Thanks for watching!
@@PSAdventures I watched a video today where an alligator swam next to someone on a paddle board at Silver Springs. She had to push him away with her oar. Can you imagine how scary? Lol
What, NO!! 😳🐊 We just can't imagine. Oh well, it won't stop us, but definitely we'll be ready with our oars!

My girlfriend and I rented one of those boats and paddled around one of the Keys back in the 90s. We got chased by an alligator while rowing along side a mangrove forest.
Yeah there's definitely some alligators around. That would be scary being chased by one! 🐊
I know y'all are always looking for new places to go so you might consider Boca Grande. There's a lot of history out there too. Or even Edison's home in Ft.Myers.
Ooo! Thanks for the suggestion! We haven't been to Boca Grande but we'll definitely look it up. From a quick search it looks beautiful with all the of the colorful water. The west coast is so beautiful! 🌊
There is also a lot of old money in Boca Grande, Old names like Evenrude. I was in law enforcement down there back in the 70s
