- Grayton Beach is voted the #1 best beach in Florida, and it’s tucked away in the Florida panhandle. The crystal clear emerald water of the Gulf of Mexico is perfect for snorkeling and paddling, and there’s lots of wildlife to see around Turtle Reef, the man-made artificial reef in the shape of a turtle! On our Grayton Beach adventure, we had the most amazing sealife encounters with a very large sea turtle and a huge pod of dolphins!
We absolutely love spending time in the Florida panhandle because of the calm warm waters. When the beach was too windy, hot, or busy, we enjoyed the beautiful quiet campground at Grayton Beach State Park and even found nice hiking trails that had us climbing over huge sand dunes and into the shady Florida pine forest. We live 2 hrs north of grayton, my grandparents had a place on Santa Rosa beach. I remember when there wasn’t anything on that beach! It has grown so much! Grayton is our new favorite place, we are going this coming Wednesday!!

I moved from the UK to Florida when I was fourteen years old, I loved this beach the sand and sea are beautiful! I was so miserable, thankfully my grandparents let me fly back home and live with them, my friends were so important, now I am forty nine years old and wish I lived back there, your videos are so interesting I am binge watching every one! I recommend Lido Key Beach,Sarsota there is a great kayak/paddleboard maze at Ted Sperling Park. And also offers tours and has a nice nature trail as well. We absolutely love it. Keep up the goodtimes! Very inspiring..❤🎉

Not sure if it would be wise to take out the inflatable paddleboard through the tunnels though. 🤔
THAT BEAUTIFUL WHITE SAND IS ACTUALLY QUARTZ THAT IS WASHED DOWN THE RIVERS FROM GEORGIA!

I started going to the area in 2000! They were not as crowed as it is today! Left the area in 2019! Grayton bch state park I have camped there many times! Site number 8 and 10 are the best views of the water! Happy u got to see it! I use to work at the Red Bar!

Just amazingly awesome! The campsite was like a small parking lot…lol. The clarity of the water is like a spring. Great stuff!
It was such a huge camping spot! We probably could have fit our van in there many times over. And you said it right! The water clarity was so clear like many springs in Florida. We'll never forget this one!

We were supposed to go to Grayton Beach this summer but ran out of time. We did visit Navarre Beach, which is beautiful too! Panhandle beaches are so beautiful! I wanted to see a sea turtle, but the waves were too much the day we visited Navarre. They had lots of Hammerhead sharks lol . Food looks delicious! Great video! ❤

It kept an eye on me but seemed very peaceful with it's little fish friends tagging along. We'd go back to Grayton Beach anytime. Always great to hear from you guys! 😊💓🌊

Awesome!! We think it's worth it. 😄 The ocean water's probably starting to get warmer in July. It's so shallow over there that the water warms up quickly, but the cooler waters would feel nice compared to the warmth of the sun! Enjoy your trip!

How far in advance did you have to make reservations?
Hi! Grayton is a very popular campground that is difficult to get into, especially if you're looking for a week at a time. The people we spoke to had booked it a year in advance as soon as the online reservation system allows. We're always on the lookout for last minute openings due to cancellations.

HaHa, what so many people don't realize is those "Hiking Trails" are slammed full of rattlesnakes. Ask me how I know.

These waters all flow to and from the connecting ocean waters, so it's really all the same isn't it? Sure feels like a huge ocean out there when you're sitting on that beach. 😄
I prefer Hallandale beach Florida beautiful city good beaches and restaurants and growing businesses and communities, and good nightlife.❤🫡🇺🇸
