The bigger discs really help the VSett 10+ at high speeds and coming down steep declines. They inspire confidence and make riding more enjoyable. Can't say thanks enough for posting these vids. Well done!

Hey Matt they sure do help, progression, heat disapation with continued bite. Nothing not to love about them. I agree they certainly do give you far more confidence.

One possible thing I would add for people is some disc are hardened such as those made by McGura Hayes, avid and some others diesel allow you to run metallic, semi metallic or organic compound brake pads. Some cheaper rotors are only able to run organic brake pads or you will actually end up burning up the desk and wearing them out too quickly. Avid Rotors are my favorite they’re very good quality at a very reasonable price and you can run pretty much any compound with him

I don't suppose you have a link for that action camera clamp you use on the suspension arms (visible at 8:28)?
I'm wanting to do some videos from down at that sort of angle on the front arms, but don't wanna go buying a clamp that's poor quality.

i used a cheap one from ebay, in the end i didn't trust it enough to mount a camera to it. you could try a small rig clamp which is the one i use on the handlebars. HTH

Hey Alan, I really enjoyed watching and rewatching your videos. I have made modifications on my 10+r after you inspired me but came across a couple problems that I have yet to overcome. First, the A5RR1 was hard-stuck and not moving freely like yours, had a hard time putting the cyclinder holding piece in, so I ended up jamming it in with a soft hammer after it scraped a lot of paint off and a dent on top of it, which ended up causing other overall issues like the rotor being too tight on the caliper. For this, I tried taking out the brake pads and reinstalling them, and also tried using a Parks Tool rotor tuning fork to fix the misalignment but that didn't help the brake pads being tighter. Does the 160mm rotor come thinner, or are there thinner brake pads? If no, what's your recommendation to fixing the screetching sound without having to replace the caliper? Also, what would you do about my A5RR1 situation? I ended up having to reinstall the stock front shock. Anyways, thanks a lot for your incredibly informative videos. I'm amazed that I can even explain it to you this thoroughly in such short time of having worked on the Vsett lol

Hi Andraz, thanks for watching. The Vsett 10 is a great scooter and probably one of the easiest to buy parts for to modify according to what you want to achieve. i ride of road so the parts and modifications just make a good scooter better. All whilst trying to make it lighter and that is really a good thing for ever mode of transport.
So i'm trying to introduce people into how easy it is to improve items for either safety i.e being better seen, so everyone has the confidence and a bit more knowledge how it works or in some cases how it doesnt.
Then in some cases its purely cosmetic which is whats great about modifications in this area as it shows individualism.
      hope that helps
