Lots of newness to share this week including the new Self Glow tan range from James Read and I also demonstrate how to pick the right shade of pink blusher to suit the undertone of your skin.
I create a soft pink nude makeup and use the Charlotte Tilbury pillow talk cream eyeshadow, which is just lovely.

Dear Caroline, It's early morning Sunday here & triple digit temperatures in the USA. Aircon blasting all day & drinking lots of water. When going out lots of sunscreen & less is more with makeup. This look is perfection. Thursday I had an appt and wore pale peach & just scrubbed in liner close to the lash line & no mascara. Thought it would melt right off. So brightened my cheeks & lips & my Dr. complimented me on how nice I looked. So I'm keeping it simple & fresh. Love getting in bed and right before lights out my soothing tea & chit chat with Caroline across the pond.

I loved how you showed the warm and cool blush, I’m a cool toned person and with those blushes I could see straight away which is the cool toned one but that’s not always the case. I just wish brands would put on their labelling which is cool and which is warm even if they put W or C it would make it so much easier. Beautiful look as always. 💖

Vita Liberata Beauty Blur is the best, can be worn alone, underneath or mixed into base. It comes in a few shades too, so I wear Lighter Light in autumn winter and light in spring summer. So under-rated!

Awww 🥰 so glad you felt the love! I bought the CT eye shadow as soon as you put it on, mid video lol! I love these, they are so easy to use and look really pretty. You’re right about the sparkly lip gloss. I got sent a goldy one from Natasha Denona when I bought her concealer (SO good) and I tried it over a neutral pink matte lippie and I loved the effect. Never would have thought to try it.

PS, I know you've done a film on blush placement, but could you do a blush placement specifically regarding the “style” of face you’re going for? An angled face to present something chic and fierce, a blush placement that mimics actual blushing, etc? I look best with blush directly below my eyes, strictly on the apples, like a painting of a blushing milkmaid lol, but nobody ever demonstrates that.

Look forward to watching your video every Saturday morning while I attempt to put on my skincare and makeup. So relaxing 😌 and it was interesting to hear someone talk about eye surgery. I had exactly the same problem and have the 2 varied vision lenses which has both advantages (can see to do my makeup) and disadvantages (now struggling to see in low light when driving) so just got some glasses for driving to even it up. Now got reading, pc and driving glasses but worth it when I couldn’t see the bedside cabinet without my bottle tops before 😂 ❤

Hi Caroline the cooler paler pink blush is very much my shade😂. I have no yellow in my skin and my ultra pale cool toned skin turns bright red then back to white in the sun, so anything warmer or mimicking a tan always looks weird, muddy, yellow or orange on me. I have ashy medium blonde hair and grey eyes too, so I’m really cool toned- I love the lilac and purple blushes of last year😂. A soft dusty pink can look really pretty on me, but it has to be almost greyed out on the eyes otherwise I just look tired. Adding a bit of navy liner would make this type of shade look better on me I think 🤔. Best wishes x
