I've been shopping to select some of my personal favourites from all the newness and I've been trialling some of these at home. Lovely - the lip colour is amazing, so flattering on you Caroline! One of my favourite looks. Learning so much with your trial and error, the 2nd blusher again very flattering on your colouring. Totally love the perfected skin with subtle colours, added to the punchier cheek/ lip. Will give this a try. Definitely love to see more of 'your mates' in your videos as it's always helpful to see other people with different hair colours/ skin tones, etc.. 💖💖💖

Lots of different brands used, you had me at bourjois!! My 17 year old self thought she had really made it when I purchased a French named brand and it was the most beautiful blush. Nostalgic ❤
I think most makeup artists presume that if you are in your late 40’s early 50,s that you have dry skin or are dehydrated, both of which I’m not. I have oily/combo skin so would love to see more make up and pore filling products/makeup for this skin type. Thanks 😊

When I was growing up it was easy to find Max Factor products in the United States, but now not so much. Hope the brand makes a reappearance here. Thanks for all the tips.

I’ve spent hundreds on various foundations and yet my ultimate favourite is L’Oreal infallible pro glow, everything about it is perfect even the shade range for my difficult to match light neutral skin ( I often have to buy two shades and mix them ) I’m not buying any more expensive foundations anymore !! Great video xx

I love that lipstick colour on you with your blonde hair. At the end of the day who knows how many people would know what an expensive face of make up is compared to drugstore? As always you give me such great tips on how to get the best from my make up application. I have relatively small lips and find putting lipstick on a bit hit or miss, so your tips today will help me a lot to get my lips looking somewhat better than they are when nude 😁. Love your final look, I’ve been using and liking a few cheaper makes, Revolution, Elf and Revlon. Certainly on par with the higher end makes I use. You’ve made me smile again, so I can say “ Caroline, your work is done “ 😂. Until the next video……

Love this video. The lipstick looks do nice, not flat as most mattes look. I'd try this one as I normally go for a satin finish.

That mascara looked amazing! Let us know if it yields results. Btw my favourite cheaper blush is the Max Factor Creme Puff blush. It's so good and one of the only blushes I have rebought multiple times. Emma x
The Revolution blush looks like a dupe for Mac peaches. You recommended lash freak by rimmel last year, it’s soooo good and I normally use high end mascara. The lipsticks remind me of a dupe for the new Westman atelier ones

A massive thank you for the Revolution Soft Satin lipstick recommendation Caroline 👏🏻. I’m normally a Charlotte Tilbury girl but decided to try these and they are amazing. I got the Berry Boss (not my usual shade, but getting adventurous in my old age) plus x2 others. Superdrug have them on 3 for 2 at the moment, what a bargain! Love, love, love them. Thank you so much 😊 PS Best lipsticks I’ve tried in a long time.

I’m a similar skin and eye colour to you, albeit a few years older,so I find the colours you choose helpful. I used to watch and follow other makeup artists or youtubers but gave that up as none of them is so funny, creative and classic at the same time, innovative and down-to-earth as you. I was always blessed with clear skin but when I hit 44 suddenly have rosacea across my cheeks with a really bumpy texture that even thick foundation wont seem to cover! Its so frustrating, I have been trying The Ordinary barrier serum but that hasnt helped, so think its time to bring out the big guns. Paying for the years I didn't take care of my skin because I didn't really have to I guess. Have a lovely weekend! x
You could try Rosalique which is a combination of treatment and make -up. Caroline alerted me to it and it really helps.
Those colours look absolutely beautiful on you! Love the combination of lip and cheek. I wish I was better at that... Could you do a video on lip - cheek combo's please? What to avoid, warm vs cool tones, which colours and tones go together?
Good ol' Bourjois.... Loved those products when I was younger. Didn't L'Oreal have scented blushes some eight years ago? Maybe they still have them.

I love Anthelios spf but lately I’ve been using Rilastil spf mille: same texture, same range of price, it absorbs in no time. Rilastil is an italian brand, mainly focused on hydration, skin elasticity, tone and lifting. I highly recommend it for mature skin (I’ll be 61 in a week 🤦🏻♀️😅) and/or for those who have gone through a very important weight Liss, just like me. It doesn’t work miracles, but it helps, definitely. My next buy is that lovely lipstick!

Would you make a film about cream blush? There aren’t many brands that make it (surprisingly), when I went to the Sephora website there were only 3 products shown, and at the drugstore I found only 1. I have enormous pores, and powder blush just sits on top, exacerbating. There are sticks that are “cheeks lips eyes”, but for whatever reason those always make my cheeks break out.
