It's one thing to claim, over and over, the humans won because of adaptability and innovation, but the author never says exactly how they did that. Conclusion: the author is not a good enough writer to explain or express the details. That makes this just another ho-hum story with nothing in it to make you want to keep listening.
I tried to finish the story but couldn’t.
The thing that wasn’t answered was this- we decided to conquer them because they were snotty? Really?
That and the fact that the story feels like it was written by a poorly trained AI. I mean, if I see the words “indomitable human spirit” one more fucking time I will projectile vomit.
Aren't we the bad guys in this story? I attacked them first.
A lot of repetition, little real meat to the story
