As someone who has built a few horse barns and had horses in barns for the last 30 years, im guessing yall will be replacing that ¾ height divider wall to something more like the front panels.

I almost snorted when Eli was riding the "bull" and it was rocking back and forth. Great seeing your rock star animals as well. Thanks for the video. I've really been going through a lot lately and this helps.
A suggestion for stall floors… we put about 4” of sand down then laid rubber stall mats on top (similar to installing pavers). It holds up really well- 10+ years and just now starting to see uneven wear. It makes it super nice for picking stalls (we use bedding pellets) and is a little nicer than frozen dirt in the winter. Keep up the good work guys!

Kudos to Jermey for supporting your passion Melissa, you made me chock up with your powerful closing statement.💞 Great job filming and editing the build, I especially enjoyed watching Lexon (spelling?) and Little Debbie's inquisitiveness. I think Herbert and Theodore will keep finding their way back to that lush real estate, can't say I don't blame them, lol. Kenji and the baby doll sheep playing together was a first for me, it just goes to show that the love you show all your animals is shared within their circle too. Eli's inflatable bucking bull is just as adorable as he is, go Eli!

Your comment about your early life with horses and the doubt of never having that again hit home here. In my youth, I showed western pleasure and did barrel racing. In today's world, I know I will never have that as I am too old for it. I am living my dreams through yours. Thank you for sharing. ❤

It’s so great to see Kenji getting a little spunky. There are times you just have to just roll with the punches, but at least you get it done. As to the change in Weather every Halloween eve when I lived in Eagle Idaho. Guaranteed first snowfall lived there for 10 years. Absolutely loved it. Missed the four seasons.

This video took me back to spring of 1996 when my barn was built and I started putting stalls in it. My last horse passed away a year ago making the barn feel empty. I hope you will have decades of fun with your horses.

So beautiful! I dream of having horses and smelling them every day! I have volunteered at a shelter and visited friends who have horses to get my fix. 😂 That smell! I truly love it.
Just a friendly suggestion we have a two stall horse barn and u might want to put a sealant on the wood stalls so that when the horses pee or poop u can easily pressure wash the wood stalls after time. So much easier to clean and keep looking nice😊

Many stables have a concrete base with drainage for hosing down, I was quite surprised you haven’t done that. Must admit you have achieved a phenomenal amount of work since living in the trailer. I take my hat off to you both.🎩

This is awesone. The first time i watced you guys you were still in the city. I was researching how to tan rabbit hides. I have used the alum, salt method on litterally hundreds of hides since then and have watched you move and build your dream home. Your entire family is a treasure. Salute.

You built a beautiful barn. Here's a suggestion to help keep the rabbits from chewing on the lower boards. Buy rolls of metal flashing and cover the bottom purlins and any other wood in reach of the bunnies. To save installation time you could rent, buy or borrow a roofing/siding nail gun.
