- Hi! I wanted to share a quick and informal check in from from my current trip to Miami, Florida. I'll be sharing all about it over on Instagram, but in the meantime wanted to discuss a little bit about what it's like traveling solo with a disability as a content creator, and ask you what kind of content you'd like to see from me on my channel. I appreciate any and all feedback!

Hey Chelsea, as a mom of a little one with CP, I would love to hear more about your childhood. What were some things that were especially hard for you/your parents? What would you/they do differently, and what did they do well to help you? You have such an amazing spirit, I want to make sure my daughter feels as capable and joyful as you, no matter how things do or don't progress for her. Thank you for being willing to share your story! You are such a hopeful light!
Aye. I've the same question. I fear for what will happen when my little one gains enough perspicacity to understand her condition. She's always been such a beautiful, social ray of sun, and now I see her frustration growing every week. 😔

I like uplifting, I don't let anything hold me back type content. My wife has MS, and she always gets inspired by videos like that. Also, "day in the life" type content would be interesting. Thanks for the update!
I’ve only recently started watching your vlogs so apologies if this idea is something you’ve already done.
I’ve learnt from watching other You tubers that making content isn’t easy and quite time consuming, as you will know as a content creator you are the camerawoman, the producer, the narrator, the writer, the video editor and everything else in between, it’s not as easy as just picking up a camera and switching it on. So my suggestion is that I’d love to see how you go about making your travel vlogs, but not from your camera but from somebody else filming you as you film yourself, you could almost describe it as a kind of documentary about you personally and how cerebral palsy impacts or doesn’t impact you during your travels with the added stress of filming yourself and trying to produce an interesting vlog.
You tube videos for the most part are free content for viewers but for you as a creator it’s not free, especially where time is concerned, I think being able to see what the process is and entails may make people a little more appreciative of your videos and the many thousands of other content creators who provide millions with free entertainment.
Just a couple of thoughts: how about a GoPro to record some of your activities and adventures-hands free; it may be a good business opportunity to provide rental cars equipped for drivers who are disabled - or provide a ride service. Looking forward to seeing your videos. Enjoy your trip.

I can not imagine you not accomplishing anything that you attempt.
You are one of the most dynamic positive people I've seen. You are not just an inspiration to folks that have or live with challenges, you are an inspiration to anyone that will listen and watch you.
You are a truly amazing, beautiful young lady. Just watching what you do in your daily life and the issues that people that have challenges have to deal with.

I am really sorry you have had to deal with Lyft and Uber drivers who don’t want to help you with scoots. That is a Shanda. I hope you have better drivers in the future and it’s good that you have your car for now because the car gives you more independence. Keep up the good work.

Chelsea , Love your content...I experienced similar difficulties when My Wife and I would travel...She was a Spinal Cord , and we reaized if we didn't find a way , it would not get accomplished...

Vizcaya is a beautiful spot. I thought California was pretty good with Uber because they have Vans with ramps. I do recall Vegas had that with their kids as a matter of fact.

hold on.... Uber won't normally pick you up? I know there might not be many around but what about a cab? I've seen the scooter come apart so would it fit in a trunk? What about a pick-up's bed? I still find that so rude...

Hey 4 months ago you said you'd post a video on dating with a disability. Anyway beyond dating with a disability- how about posting about how to make social connections with a disability, how to fit in at networking events, when's the best time to tell new friends or coworkers about your disability, and how to otherwise "fit in" socially. Would also be curious to see if you ever felt jealous of able-bodied people growing up if they were playing sports that you wanted or if you wished you could have been perceived the way they were perceived, etc; these are things I'm struggling with right now, personally.

As a fellow disabled person, I have Spina Bifida and use a manual wheelchair, I think it would be awesome if your videos weren’t all solely focused on your disability and just let how you live your life be the example. You could do a bucket list of different activities in each video like volunteering at an animal shelter, taking an art class or just anything you you desire!

Edit: I suppose this question/concern I share might be.... misguided however, as most folks don't retain much of childhood into adulthood. I suppose I really need to talk more to a child psychologist/psychiatrist. However, beyond what you've already shared of your childhood, any further personal insights would be very much appreciated.
