  • I've had this oil leak for a few months, oil was leaking onto the exhaust manifold and the spark plugs. So just a quick video showing a few points so you know what to expect.

    Great video. So you do not need to lock anything off lower down the engine to take off the cylinder head with the tools you used?

      I didn't lock anything lower down, I just made sure the cam belt was still taut lower down and mark which teeth the belt goes back to. I didn't got as far as taking the cylinder head off, just the top containing the camshafts. I had no issues doing it this way.

      @@davidwood8837 I had oil in 3 out of the 4 and a slight leak out the front over the exhaust manifold. Changing this gasket sorted them all.

    Excuse me, I would ask you, the section of the Valve cover locking screws. Which kind of wrench did you use to unscrew them?

      Those screws are Ribe. I think they are 8mm. The medium length 8mm ribe socket is about 10cm long and will reach down to those screws and just connects to your usual socket outside of the cover.
