Great video
Thanks mate
Good work man! I just picked up a pair of 300B and I'm excited to finally switch from ARRI 650s that I have been using in my productions so far (light bulbs are kind of expensive and are becoming somewhat of a hassle)))
Thank you for the tutorial! This was very helpful. Which lens did you use on this one?
Pls more video like that on how to do a contrast lighting
I will
Amazing! what your camera WB?
Hi
Can i have the name of this song ?
I love it
What gel on the key light?
Very cool, love this style! Did you use a osee monitor? Would you recommend it? Thanks!
Hey yeah I did use their monitor. It's a very nice screen to work with and I much prefer the 7 inch over the 5 inch. That being said I hate the controls for it I haven't gotten used to them and I owned it for months haha. It had buttons.
Also I am used to using my portkeys bm5 monitor so I really hope that future iterations might be able to be controllers as well.
@@TheFilmGuyOfficial thanks for replying! I have three monitors here (portkeys lh5h, feelworld luts and fotga c50) and I'll send them all back. I find the osee interesting, as I'm used to have rented the smallhd monitors and osee just copied the UI. It's definetly weird at the beginning, but I got used to it pretty quick. For me a few food old buttons would do better ;)
Thanks and keep on going!
Nice! Oh Btw what's the name of this song? :)
Sick video tut! Was just wondering how managed to use the gel on the forza 500 in full power without burning a hole into the gel?
I don't know haha, I haven't had issues I guess don't suffocate the front dish leave a little bit of breathing room and get high quality gels
@@TheFilmGuyOfficial man i keep burning my gels hahah. What kind of gels do you use? A link would be appreciated 🙏

@@TheFilmGuyOfficial What did you call that gel, lime orange?
So awesome. Still not sure if i should go for the 300b or the 500... :(
Thanks mate.. What do you shoot?
@@TheFilmGuyOfficial Mainly Musicians/Bands and sometimes stuff for brands (commercials/content pieces for social media).
@@simonstoeckl id go the 300 and the freznel it will probably be more useful for you
@@TheFilmGuyOfficial I think i will do that! Thank you!
Nice vid where did you get the Muslim sheet in aus? I am also from aus as well but couldn’t find it anywhere thanks
B&h mate, thanks for the comment
Good video if I could afford lights like that I would get them do you know any inexpensive light so I can get what I can do the same thing
Haha it's funny how people look at things. to be honest I consider these to very Iniexpensive lights.
But you can get similar results from lights from your hardware store I would avoid any LEDs but you can get some very strong globes and just a defuse it more.
The amaran 200x is similar and 1/3 the price
Did You record on Gen 5 color science, and can You tell anything about the proces of color grading
No this is Gen 4 colour science. Which I actually prefer. Gen 5 at this point seems to be much more noisy and it doesn't use the full gammer spectrum.
In terms of colour grading a lot of it also came down to how I shot. The image I shot was brighter than what you see that way I could get more information in the shadow once I graded down.
This was very important especially considering my actors skintones.
Then it was a matter of adding green to the shadows and then correcting for contrast diffrences depending on how close i was to my subject.
I also pushed it to be abit warmer.
But honestly its mostly lighting and set design.
what color temp were you balanced to?
6100k
What hazer?
Its made by Chauvet DJ
How do you find the hurricane hazer mate?
It works well and heats up fast. I have had no issues.
@@TheFilmGuyOfficial It's the Chauvet Hurricane-Haze 2D? I'm looking into it. Don't really wanna spend 2K on a rosco hazer...
@@DMDOP its the 1dx actully.
@@TheFilmGuyOfficial Even better. Thanks mate, much appreciated.
What camera did u use in shooting this pls?
Bmpcc4k
Thanks film guy..have u use the Fujifilm XT4?
@@Kini_Wolfgang I have. Its a good camera I like the color science but I'm not a fan of compressed formats.
@@TheFilmGuyOfficial me i am going for because it will serve me for both stills and video..i have a bmpcc for cinema line
I too prefer my Muslims unbleached.
Why you shoot it in yo grandmas living room?
Cuz grandma is dope!
