  • Katharine Baragona, '90, serves as Senior Infrastructure Finance Specialist for the World Bank in Washington, D.C. Baragona develops financing structures and risk mitigation support that is used by fragile conflict violence-affected countries to attract private sector investment into their power sectors. Through her job, Baragona often travels to Lebanon, Jordan, Yemen, Palestine, and Iraq to conduct business.
Baragona is the chair of McGeorge's International Board of Advisors (IBOA), which is a group of alumni that work to expand McGeorge's global network and enhance the school’s presence and impact around the world. She has been involved with the IBOA for nearly 30 years.
Baragona said she would recommend McGeorge School of Law to prospective students who want to pursue a career in international law. Baragona feels that she was well prepared to excel in her career of the international law courses that McGeorge School of Law offers to students and the school's international network.
