I'm John, got 2 MR2s, ones called Betsy the black turbo, she is a naggy little bixxh but she gets me there, the second is a N/A called Bluey as its blue Metalic, i paid £275 for Bluey a bargain! Had Betsy for 16 years, i use Collinite wax on the rev 3 + light works lovely and doesn't scratch.
Gunna have to get myself some of that! Looks awesome!

FYI the border and between each light is supposed to be solid black, then you clear coat over the entire thing.
Yeah or at least tinted a lot darker I think, ours still has some darkness but I quite like it to be honest! Might reconsider in the future.
@@RODEBLOCTV nope, it's supposed to be solid black paint. From the factory, the sides didn't get adequate coverage and I'm very surprised Toyota let Koito get away with that. But anyway, have you seen a restored set with no black paint at all? Looks cool.

Edgar Heff could easily do them on the car! Might be an idea to mask off the bodywork though just incase your scouring pad hits it
