Ios 7 was much better than what we have today imo. It actually felt more like a theme upgrade. It still kept the swipe to unlock even on the 5S up to the 8 line. Being IOS 10 etc. The control center felt more intuitive than it does now. It actually looked good and would take you to settings vs now you have to go to settings. IOS really needs themes. My favorite thing about IOS7 is the leftest swipe over had reminders, alarms, calendar, weather & siri automatically applied and looked great. IOS 7 looks nothing like what we have now. IOS 7-10 was pretty. It was the first time it felt like you had a new phone. I had an iphone 5 & it getting the update omg! It was so nice! Now IOS has almost taken a step back. The App Icons to the interface are just boring. Customizing the lock screen wow so intuitive I could do that on my LG Venus from 2008. Same thing with contacts lol. Give Us themes already!
Man the nostalgia hits like a freight train. I remember we were all waiting for it to drop in my AP Biology class in 9th grade. One of my classmates interrupted when it dropped during the middle of class & everyone, our teacher included, dropped everything to download it. The design still scratches all the right spots in my brain all these years later, honestly miss it & the simpler times surrounding it.
Ios 7 on the iphone 5s was the first phone i had ever since i was 10. Im not sure where it is but its probably in a bunch of junk in my storage closet.
