Love to see you put this in your Karmann Ghia and then do burnouts without the use of snow. . .just sayin!
easiest way I found to pre-set the dual linkage is on the stops at wide open throttle. the minute amount of slop is usually enough for idle to be set with equal flow.
had a synchrometer, tried using it, then shoved it in the corner and tuned by ear/feel. much better outcome, although I did use it again to check idle, just off idle part throttle to make sure it wasn't lead/lagging one side.
other thing is having the linkage arm ends so the link rods are both parallel/veritcal, so they move at the same exact rate. made that mistake in a hurry before

Nice work gentle men you guys probably know this old trick but when i was a young guy and doing a lot of wrenching on my Aircooled VW s myself and all my buddy’s were always looking for abandoned Shopping carts if you cut the majority of the cart off the bottom with the wheels it was a perfect storage vessel for moving the motor around the garage and even installing and removing them for a Beetle with the correct floor jack we used to build our workbenches with enough clearance for the motor to get stored underneath and out of the way fyi we never had to steal a cart as you could always find one in the city areas one time we even found one on the shoulder of a main highway in Miami Florida ? Go figure ?

This video has me worried about the red ignition wire laying one the #4 J tube= last week I put a new battery in Rambus and the nylon oil pressure tube touched the #3 header pipe and 50 lbs. of oil pressure dumped 1 quart of oil out before I saw smoke??

question... what size wheels are on that nova in the rear. I have a set of welds for mine but not sure what size tire to wrapped them with that will fit with out hitting the tube or out quarter panel

how much for the engine with the shinny little distributor??
one like in the video is approx $5500 depending on the carbs you use. you can go up or down from there depending on what kind of engine you are looking for. you can email andrea at andreab@thegourmetchocolatier.com
