The WPL is a good watch, needs more teams!
I like listening Mike and Nassar because the two guys are calm and fantastic. England need to play test cricket and baseball does not work in India.

@@Snoozefor10minutes not in their full scale yet, only 5 teams makes so unfair, there need more teams in wpl, the only reason i beleive they not let more teams is, first they make popular wpl, then they bidd high price for new teams.

I was last night at Delhi stadium , and was looking for daniell Wyatt but she hasn't been included.
It was a game , shabnam Ismail was just breathing fire 🔥🔥 , that bowl to healy was so good .
Michael Atherton is probably the only commentator who is unbiased, is like music to listen to, brings a bit of humour too and almost always says everything right.He praises players but never really glorifies them like Nasser Hussain does but all in all, these 2 make the best commentatory and analysis pair.
Indian WPL is huge success in terms of viewership and format . Indian stars and International stars mix is good to watch.
Other countries should learn from this. Glad England is investing more into it.

I think the big thing for me will be getting bums on seats in the Charlotte Edwards and Rachel Heyhoe-Flint trophies. Attendances for those are a tad lower than they could be at the moment
Nas and Athers - great podcast as always and it's really good that you guys are featuring the women's game. I am in the US and have watched both seasons of the WPL and the improvement in just one season is amazing. One great feature that the WPL has is great idea for the men's IPL which is - that the Franchises are allowed to pick one additional oversees player if she is from one the upcoming nations like Ireland , Zimbabwe, Bangladesh etc. This on the Mens IPL would be a real shot in the arm for nations like Ireland, Holland and Namibia etc. even posssibly Nepal. Just a thought and maybe some coverage on your podcast about that may be a good lesson for the Men's IPL folks.

It seems that the ECB remains wedded to the idea of the international game subsidising the county/regional game. Surely, going forward the Counties require greater independence in order to generate their own sucessful business model(s). It's the only way growth will occur.

The 2 good things about England were Crawly and the 2 young spinners.. they gave their best and did well.. rest were disaster - a bunch of journeymen trying to earn some bucks without any commitment. Stokes should be thrown out of captaincy immediately, Root rested, Bairstowe axed, 40+ retired and the rest warned. If England takes this brave steps, they will loose 0-3 or 1-3 in the Ashes. Otherwise a 0-5 drubbing waiting
