Very funny, any club player could have told you what Pietersen did, team makes bowling change to attempt to dismiss batsman and it works, hardly rocket science.

It was just brilliant bowling by Bumrah, I don’t think any of the batsmen that got out to him, got out to a bad shot. Sometimes you just have to hold your hands up. Still love this England team though. 😊

Why is this about KP. When Anderson gets someone out, it is all about Anderson and the brilliant captaincy of Stokes. When Bumrah gets someone out, it becomes all about the commentator who called it!

You don't need to be an expert to say the best bowler of India will be targeting the best batsman of England in an India vs England.
He predicted horribly in the first test when India just finished their 1st innings in the previous match . He was 100% sure that Eng won't even score 100 runs in the 2nd Innings . Rest is history!

These performances reminds me that India is King of Bi-Laterals but even with the best bowler or best batsman or even the best fielder in their side, such performances never happen in knock out games, be it WTC final or WC knock out games.
Indian players are best in the world, but they just don't know how to do well during knock out games.

Problem with kp is that he is not very impartial,when India bat or bowl it's quite negative but England does everything right in his eyes while Indian commentary is impartial when England does well they give credit

The quality of commentarty by Talksport is nothing like Test match special and to be honest will have. a significant impact on the number of people following the radio commentary, it's not really about whether Peterson knows about the game and can pick a danger, its more about whether the person is liked and listeners like to listen to them. Peterson was a brilliant batsman and when he played he was better keeping his mouth shut and that still applies. The naff increase in volume on every small occurrence of the commentators is another indication of the commentators proving that good players arn't necessarily good commentators and usually they arn't. Love cricket, avid listener to TMS. Sorry Talksport ..not impressed.

Root was the player that replaced Kevin Pietersen..
He wasn't, it was years after KP had left before he became established at number 4, he's played 55 tests out of his 140 playing in different positions to 4, mostly 5 and 6 and was tested as opener at well. Ateotd Root and KP played in a fair number of Tests together before KP stopped after the 2013/14 Ashes. Root debuted in that 4th test in India in 2012 that England won. Then played the rest of that winter, the whole summer and next winter with KP. That included that back to back Ashes and then the fallout
It wasn't until the 2015 Ashes that he first played at 4 and played 8 Tests there. He again moved because England thought he''d be successful number 3, which since Trott left had been a problem for England and he played there for the whole of 2016 before again moving back to 4
