50 more videos please. love this topic
Another loud vote for more on these topics; I’ve been writing my own program with these general goals for a while and I keep ending up trying to do too much; I enjoy seeing how you make choices to cover what’s necessary without excess.
This really is the most underrated channel on CZcams. The quality and relevance of your work is so consistently good and valuable. I’ve been in Breckenridge CO all month (escaping the heat back home in Austin) and there’s a rec center here with a nice gym in it. They have a whole room full of kettlebells! I was never comfortable in gyms before the pandemic but I’ve been learning and practicing from your training for a couple years now and it felt so good to be able to walk into that room and have a detailed plan in my head as to what to do with all these bells. Training here has gone great with the exception of there being so little oxygen in the air at this altitude. :) Thank you for generously sharing so much with so many of us here.
the air up there is very very thin.but kettlebell training will help you adapt faster. thanks for watching
50 more nerdy videos! please and thank you!
Awesome, thanks so much for taking the time to respond so thoroughly. I've been working on learning Mace flow and this video reminded me I used to do 10 minutes of crawling a few times a week but stopped somewhere along the way, might have to bring that back into the fold.
Great to see more of the Basic Human series.
Hell yeah
The topic of longevity is so important, thank you.
Great vid - I’d love to see a video where you break down a few ‘standard’ forms of qi gong & tai chi in terms of how the benefits differ per style for the body.
Release the nerd. Love the deep dive.
MW: "This is going to be an extremely nerdy video."
Me: "Yaaaaayyyyyy!!!!"
11:11 14:47 --- Yes, yes!! Pretty please! :-D
It's so odd that fundamental aspect such as get up was never discussed in neither Georges Hébert nor classic crossfit. If I remember right, Chinese martial arts are also not big in to get up series either. Good thing we got an engineer for this.
I would love more videos on longevity and athleticism!
Hi. Very important video. Don't have to be sexy, but joints have to work when we are older. I am in that situtiaton. More of this. Thanks our good content. 😊
Great video. Me since watching Wildman: Have you heard the good news about the Mace?
Would love to get more vids on longevity and on athleticism!!
Commenting for the Algorithm 💪🏽👍🏼
This arrived at the perfect time for me, thank you!
Awesome! How to maintain longevity and athleticism. More like this please!
Mark this is the video ....thanks man !!!
Indian club for longevity? More joint activity with very light weight and speed / agility
Yes! I wondered about this too - an Indian Club Flow please
hehe you are making the world a better place!
Excellent content as always Mark
I love those videos and can't wait for the 50 coming up. :)
Can you continue doing videos for overweight people on losing weight I really was learning alot and enjoy those videos thanks
I'd Love to see a kettlebell flow video maybe how to program that
Really looking forward to some animal flow videos.
YES. 50 MORE VIDEOS PLEASE.
Thanks for the shoutout Mark! Let’s get some movement in sometime soon 😎🤙🏻

(Still working on CZcams)
Shall I come down in may and we can make a bunch of videos?
I love your flows! Probably the most beautiful I have seen on the Internet!
@@MarkWildman my birthday is on the 18. Let’s party 😎🤘🏻
Feel like parkour training could definitely fit in as a step up in complexity from Animal Flow and do a really good job covering almost every step on both athletic lists.
Watching Tom Scott learn the very basics of parkour (CZcams vid from a few weeks back I think?) really was interesting. Seeing just how to approach it for an absolute beginner was cool.
Great video Mark, this covered a lot of ground and I’m all for exploring it more as it fits into my personal life situation.
One question, what are your thoughts on rowing (concept 2) as a substitute for running/biking ? Assuming you have access to a machine of course, it would seem to check a lot of boxes but I’d like to hear your thoughts. Thanks.
Love it. Not great for movement but I love it. I’d make videos but I’m rower is in LA at Ganbatte
I'm watching out for the Animel Flow series videos.
Another vote for longevity and athleticism discussions.
The only trainer I would trust ever.
That's so cool you mentioned the natural system method. Have you seen the documentary on La Sierra High School
Awesome video. Thank you! Yes! I practice internal arts and follow your guidance for exercise content. But never combined it! Can you talk more about that? How do you use/interlace/combine internal arts training with longevity conditioning
Let’s do it. Let’s nerd tf out
hello!
Thnak you for free content.
I've been a hardstyle kettlebell practicioner and recently started working out with clubs. I have two questions. It would be great if you found time to answer it:
1) programming clubbells: you recommend doing all sets of a given exercise without a break. What do you think about doing them E30S? The variable would be the number of reps per 30s (let's say 3-5 reps). I use this method with kb clean an jerks, I'm wondering if it's transferable to clubbells. I understand it would keep you further from failure and developed more strength on the expense of the time spent on a training session.
2) How to make sure you maximize thoracic rotation and eliminate lumbar rotatio during casts and mills? I'm recovering from a lumbar hernia and don't want the clubs to affect my healing process.
Thank you in advance!
Question for MW: how well would the Gymnastics Forza ring and flare systems slot into a longevity/athleticism program and what might that look like? The ring system seems to combine bodyweight movements with the ability to precisely control resistance, and the flare looks insane for core. Had my eye on both since your recent unboxing video. Many thanks for all the videos; they've really changed how I think about and practice fitness and exercise.
Some Hsing I/IMA oriented videos would be great.
Indian Club Flow 🙏🏽
Thanks as always. Could a lighter steel mace flow (and) work as warmup?
It has for me when it's nice out. I still do some focused joint mobility but the mace flow is a great way to get the muscles firing and warm.
Ben beat me to it - Mark, the data all supports the importance of cultivating an optimized VO2 Max capacity for longevity and wellness. The collective thinking is, the use of Mafatone or Level 2 training for 30 - 45 minutes at least 4x per week is necessary. Running, rowing, Echo/Assault Bike are all recommended protocols, as the target heart rate must be held constant for the entirety of the training period. As a former elite Crossfitter, i have had a rude awakening as to my de-training on this metric. I can “redline” for up to 20 minutes (anaerobic), but this does NOT translate to aerobic fitness, it turns out.
Thus my new use of kettlebell marathon time frames.
Would love to see an Animal Flow video
Could you substitute clubbell for the mace?
I have adjustable an kettlebell and clubbell but no mace
Yes
Yes animal flow please
Waiting patiently for the sexyness stuff. Please, Mark, looking sexy is a great goal, even though kettlebellers don't like to speak about it openly! 😂
1-10 how much do you like swimming?
10. I grew up land locked so I’m not good at it, but I love it
@@MarkWildman thanks!
First
I don't need to focus on sexy training because I'm sexy enough and I'm saving some for the rest you.
Well argued
