Oreo the Shollie | Two years together

- Two years ago I got Oreo. I got him as a birthday present from my best friend. The little highlight in my life. Today he is a huge and smart dog. I couldn't wish for anything better.
About Oreo :
Oreo is two years old. He is a German shepherd-Border collie mix. He was born on the 18th January 2018.

He looks a lot like my Shollie that I rescued at 2 years old. He (named Bear) looks like a mix between a smooth collie and GSD. He's about 80lbs of pure muscle but little collie legs lol. The collie traits are stronger than the GSD ones but they are there.
I wish he was as well trained. We've had him a year and previous owners did not do any obedience training. Only at-home stuff. He picks up some things quick but can get very distracted outdoors and won't listen.
Oreo is amazing my wee man sparky is eight months old now .they are so loyal,lovable and intelligent. 😁
This is amazing. I recently adopted a shollie cross kelpie puppy, he is very similar look and indeed smart.
Which training guideline did you follow? Your help would be appreciated
I'm sorry for the late response. From the internet side I used a lot of Zak Georges videos, but mostly with Oreos training, my friend (she trains dogs for years, ig : blackndwhitewd) helped me with tips and his behavior. Hope this helped!

My border collie had puppies with the neighbor's German shepherd 6 weeks ago, she rejected the first puppy and it was really cold so I took him in and bottle raised him, my grandma said I couldn't keep him but a few days ago she said she would let me, his name is Lou and he looks just like a german shepherd puppy, but the other 6 puppies all have the features of a border collie but the markings of a german shepherd 3 are just black and white and the other 3 are brown black and white.
Aww, I hope Lou is doing great! In Oreos kettle there were and black&white and GSD colored puppies, we still keep in touch with some of his brothers&sister!
