I have the Wen drill press and Wen rotary tool. There both very high quality and great products. I'm new to the channel and I'll have to check out the sander belt by Wen.
I don’t know what’s better , The vise or that great looking work bench ? That’s pretty heavy duty for garage / shade tree mechanic use ! Very nice Tom !
I found my work bench frame in the trash. Raise and lower over a foot. 7x4 i put .125 HS steel from my job on all 3 tiers it weighs 1/2 ton and ive got only the cost of bolts and paint in it.
6 inches refers to the width of the jaws, not how far they open. That's a nice looking vise though, I have two DeWalt vises and I'm looking to add another to me moble work bench. I agree, wen makes great products, I have a wen drill press and it's about the best value I've seen dollar for dollar
@@TomHorsmanAmateurBBQ the guy who tried to correct you was wrong your correct. Good tip about making sure the vice is close enough to the edge of bench to allow long pieces to be clamped vertical I've seen plenty of people have to reposition vice once they realise it fouls the bench. That looks a good vice thanks for the upload🙋♂️
Congrats on your new purchase. By the way 6" refers to the width of the jaws, not how far out they will open.
Thanks for Watching! You are correct! Thanks for the feedback

Daniel Hill Thanks for watching Daniel! I always thought it was the opening not the width of the jaw. Thanks for the correction
The length of the screw that holds the vice jaws together determines the size of the vice not the width of the jaws
Thanks for Watching! Yes
