For all the boss soundtracks from both games I would rank them like this:
1. Book 5 (CHILLS, CHILLS EVERYWHERE)
2. Book 2 (Fight or Flight kind of a soundtrack)
3. Book 3 (Scared me as a child [Bosses included])
4. Book 4 (Like 3 but it was more child-friendly to me)
5. Book 6 (Kind of forgettable if not for the BOSSES [that self-destruct boss OR Lady summer-speak can go f**k themselves with its BIG damage and potion/gem steal])
6. Book 1 (Classic, but not my kind of tune)

At least they give you arguably the second best treasure in the game after Scimitar (genie lamp allows you to get more health and power out from the health and power potions respectively). Combining them with another powerful attack treasure (like arc of Zyxxyz) or defense (Athena aegis/Medusa chest) makes book 3 for you, because they allow you to get more powerful attacks and damage bonus gems.
Edit: and how can I forget about parrot? that one is the third best.

I just recognized the sphinx stage that there are the answers in the word tiles. I was so stupid and pretending to beat the boss without knowing the hint.

If I was gonna redo the Sphinx level, I would have to add heavily armored buff to words that is not a riddle solution so that players could just not cheese the level by spelling long words. The longer the word, the higher the damage reduction.

That Stupid Pirate fought at the end of Fifth chapter and the So-called Vizier at the end of Tenth chapter were the hardest bosses in this book for me.

Is it me or did the genie level just suddenly spiked in difficulty in this game? They are all tough was hell to beat and do so much goddamn damage in like 2 turns, especially the boss.

yes bcs starting from the genie chapter every characters were armored and were more difficult to damage.

the game begins to get hard when the dev decides to add the power down ability to almost all of the mobs later in the chapter, starting from the genie level lmao

The Fortune Reversal is a definitely a pain in the ass. Which is why I usually use the Aegis of Athena, the Arch of Xyzzy, and Wooden Parrot
