      MaximilianBus - play high notes and long notes as long as you can I did this for 30min a day and started getting better to the point I get top 3 chairs out of 9

    At 0:23 what is in between the B and the F?

      That's a double-sharp, which means a whole tone above the note it's on. In this case, the F double sharp translates to the some thing as a G natural, which is why he played in 4th position

      Rubato. It's Italian for "to steal," meaning to take time from one part of a phrase and give it back in another. In other words, speeding up and slowing down certain parts to add drama, tension, excitement, etc. If you pay attention, I don't play metronomically accurate everywhere in the piece. But you can't do it on every single phase because then it just sounds like you don't know what tempo you want to take.
