We received over 1000 photos, drawings and illustrations.

What is humanity? A question that students from all over the world depict on the largest canvas in Switzerland.
Their projects explore our primordial human feelings and the question of who we are.
The 13 art and design students created a total of 12 audiovisual projects over the course of a semester.

A celebration of life
The final chapter of the evening shows a sequence of important moments from the history of our planet and humanity. It deals with our spirit of innovation, diversity and resilience.
The international DJ and composer Worakls has specially composed a piece for this project, which he realized in collaboration with the Basel Symphony Orchestra.

Animation on this huge wall is impressive-especially when it plays with the shape of the building and virtually twists it! And well timed with the orchestra! Impressive. Basel has now a great cinema wall, I knew that thing wasn‘t only for working 🤗
