i remember during an interview Manson was asked "If the parents of the kids who were killed in Columbine were here today, what would you say to them?" and his response was, "i wouldn't say anything to them, i would Listen to them, because its the one thing no one has done for them."
I think what he asked was “if those kids who committed the shooting were alive today what would you say to them? And then he gave the answer that he would listen to them.

I seen Marilyn Manson at Ozzfest 2001 at 13 years old. I've seen hundreds of bands since then. Everything from Tom Petty, to Slipknot, Linkin Park, Motley Crue, Black Sabbath, Ozzies band, and so many more. None of them even come close to the performance Manso put on that night. Ill never forget that band
The main reason of school shootings is and always was bullying. When I got through this shit in my early teens I have not listening to any music about that topic because there werent any yet, but Im still glad that I didnt had access to a weapon.

He's actually a decent and reasonable guy. He's in the art entertainment industry and people seem to forget that entertainment isn't real. The problem isn't the various artists. The problem is the people, who don't have lives or responsibilities, seem to reside in fantasy land instead of reality and there's some people out there who allow others to use it as a justification for delusional behavior.

The Columbine kids were being bullied for a long time and became outcasts to the point that they felt no empathy towards anyone. The parents, the school, and the kids who knew what was happening that stayed silent contributed to this. It surely wasn't Marilyn Manson.
