You're best friends. You both love the snow. You feed the stray cats together. You share chocolates on Valentine's Day. You're both too nervous to tell each other what you're really thinking.
(I'M LATE! UGH. :-: If encoding was instant, I would've been perfectly on time but alas, I forgot that encoding takes foreverrr. Especially when you put bokeh effects over everything, good job Tanuki! Just pretend I'm on time, yeah? Happy Valentine's Day!!!
So I'm a little out of practice, but with a sudden surplus of free time and a wave of motivation to capitalize on Valentine's Day like all the best of 'em, I was able to write and record everything here in two days. Which...unfortunately explains why I was a little lazy with things like cloth sounds and trying to make the space more immersive by properly placing footsteps effects and all that. But I did write a whole (okay maybe more like half) song for this one, so I'm cutting myself a break. I hooope my singing voice wasn't too off-putting or anything. I have a newfound respect for musical theater actors who are able to sing in-character. Wild.
Maybe I kinda shot myself in the foot by just allowing this script to contain every uninteresting detail I could come up with. I hope that makes it more relaxing though, in that you don't really need to pay attention to all the details, you can just be there for the vibes. I wish I could sit in this science building atrium and watch the snow. That sounds so peaceful. Anyway, anyway. Wow I have so much I want to say from the fact that I haven't uploaded for four months, but I keep rambling every time I try. Well. I'm back! Hello! For the immediate future! Thank you so much for being here. Truly.

i usually skip over songs like these and i'm not sure why i do, but that was really one of the most beatiful things i've heard in a long time (messy song stucture 'n' all). I also have mild synesthesia and your song smelled like arguably one of the best smells out there, that being rain/petrichor and umm yeah i just thought i'd let you know what your singing smells like... that sounded weird😬.

If you posted this song just by itself I would listen to it over and over because oh my gosh! It’s so lovely! Not only is friends to lovers my absolute favorite trope, I’m a huge music (musical theater specifically) nerd, and if someone confessed to me like this I would cry (I almost did). Your voice is so lovely. I’m sure writing and singing songs is hard (I’m a singer, but definitely not a writer), but if you’d be willing to sing more I know I’d be really happy.

Your voice was melodic, clear and soothing, and the lyrics were soooo far much better than a lot of love songs I've heard. They focused on the small things where life really sparkles, and noticing such details really warms the listener's heart. Or at least it warmed mine. :3 I would be so happy to see both this version and the finished version you were talking about on music platforms (like CZcams music *cough* since that's the one I use the most *cough* lol.) This version with just the guitar and shakey, uncertain, but hopeful voice is so charming on its own.
