Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania is a 2023 American superhero film based on Marvel Comics featuring the characters Scott Lang / Ant-Man and Hope Pym / Wasp. Produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures, it is the sequel to Ant-Man (2015) and Ant-Man and the Wasp (2018) and the 31st film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). The film was directed by Peyton Reed, written by Jeff Loveness, and stars Paul Rudd as Scott Lang and Evangeline Lilly as Hope van Dyne, alongside Jonathan Majors, Kathryn Newton, David Dastmalchian, Katy O'Brian, William Jackson Harper, Bill Murray, Michelle Pfeiffer, Corey Stoll, and Michael Douglas. In the film, Lang and Van Dyne are transported to the Quantum Realm along with their family and face Kang the Conqueror (Majors).

the kang variant during the entire movie was a special one. He was not good but when he was talking to Janet in the beginning of movie, you could some genuine goodness in him. Also these 3 variants in this video are definitely evil. So if he was against these three, then we can't outrightly say that he was evil but also during his stay in the quantum realm he does no good. So he was very unique

i’m thinking there won’t be any “good” kangs, and the ending of Secret Wars is gonna have He Who Remains come back, but instead of pruning timelines, he’ll just keep all the Kangs at bay
Bro literally erased countless realities before the other Kangs intervened, he believes in the one reality superiority like the first Kang that we saw in Loki did when he was younger.
Honestly this makes sense for Kang Dynasty and Sercet Wars, fighting against one Kang is ok but fighting Kangs from every multiverse will make him a bigger threat than Thanos

Real life drama aside the movie was garbage and a poor introduction to the next big bad.
The Egyptian version of Kang is a call back to the comics where Kang traveled to ancient Egypt and became a Pharo.

Quantumania got changed like hell after the plot was leaked.
Kang wasn't a variant. He was going to come back in Avengers: The Kang Dynasty.
Quantumania's ending was going to be on par with Infinity War. There was no portal back to Earth. The "Ant-Fam" had Quantum wristwatches from Endgame. Kang would take advantage of Hope coming back for Scott and steal her device to escape. Scott and Hope would be stranded and Kang would be free.
The mid credit scene was going to be Cassie at her computer and gasping at something unseen.
Everyone at Marvel is probably kicking themselves for replacing that with this.

This is my favorite credit scene of one of my favorite MCU movies, but I have never noticed before that Rama-Tut's MECHANIC spine is visible without any flesh or muscles surrounding it, if you know what I mean. Gross!
