And these guys are only two out of five actually talented musicians, and I'd say passionate ones too! Everything fuses together it's ridiculous.
That lead work is fucking ethereal sounding. Perfectly backed by fast pace brutal riffage. 3:25 till the end is one of the best things I ever heard in my life

i actually just bought one because of these radical dudes. Love their sound and felt inspired to play tech death. its hard as hell but with enough practice ill get there. Saw them live in 2016 at ozzfest, killer show.

the lead guitarist seems really unimpressed by his own guitar playing at this point. He looks at his guitar with a "yeah I know" kind of disappointed look.
"Lead" dude either of these guys can play like this. They're stupid talented.
Because he probably played this soo many times at this point, that its not as exciting haha.
Or he could be focusing because it's a difficult riff to play clean for a playthrough video.

Scott uses Kemper, Brian uses axe fx. They're both amazing, but they're different units entirely. Different strokes for different folks is all. Both sound incredible, they're just different.

Such a shame they ventured away from this sound. This album made me feel like I was floating through space, now they just sound like a more generic prog/death metal band.
Same. Undying Light was straight up garbage. I really really tried to like it. I listened to it the whole way through, and my only thought was how bad it was.
