The two lead actors of the 8 mountains are the two best upcoming actors of the last decade in Italy. I highly recommen the movie "Non essere cattivo" which is basically their breakout role and one of the best Italian movie since 2000. Love all the reviews btw

War Pony and The Silent Twins were probably the best movies I saw in Cannes! Loved almost everything about them
You definitely need to rewatch The Stranger - this is a brilliant, unsettling film that conveys the psyche of a undercover officer who has to befriend a monster and the toll that takes on his mental state, with haunting visuals, an incredible score by Oliver Coates, and with a sparse minimalism across all aspects of the film that has a real understated power to it. I thought the narrative arc felt complete and I took even more from this on second viewing after reading some of the real life backstory. This is a chilling film that lingers in the mind in the best possible way.

For Brother and Sister, this isn’t the first time that director has made a movie with those issues. One of his previous movies Ismael’s Ghosts had the same problem where it was really messy and complicated and you weren’t sure how to follow it. You could see some potential in the film in spots but it didn’t work.
Deception last year was also terrible tbh and Oh Mercy was ok to watch but eventually pointless. What a frustrating director.

Gosh Brother & Sister was so unbelievably bad I couldn’t even finish it.
The Innocent was a nice surprise. Also Return to Seoul and Corsage.
Smoking Causes Coughing is hilarious in the beginning but then gets lost quickly.
