how do you get rid of the weather on the widget for the date? and how do you get it so even with the Gameboy?
@@bigtruckinMike well i adjusted it using the KWGT Maker. KWGT Maker not only helps to apply a preset of widgets into your homescreen but also allows you to change anything you want to within that widget. Like fonts, color, adding/removing time, weather, dates, song you name it. It also allows you to add components like shapes, images etc. I hope you get an idea. I used those preset of widgets as an outline and then made adjust according to my taste to make the setup as I want it to.

@@amiruleahsan5090 what does downloading the back up file do exactly? I've never used pallette or kustom apps until a couple weeks ago so it's all still very new to me.

You truly provide the finest of vids in terms of impeccable quality. Would be thrilling to get a regular update of best nova setups every 2-3 months, for that's the time period after which one seeks new and more updated custom homescreen screens to feast one's eyes on.
I'd love to see more nova launcher setup videos, I always get something really cool then get bored of it in a month
Esthetic appearance of the screen is very important , so these beautiful setup videos must come more often, at least twice per year I think, palette app is excellent!

I love your work mate and these setups are amazing. They are just not for me. I am a NovaLauncher guy but my setup is pretty oldschool: Today Weather widget on top, a 4-line Business Calendar widget with the next 4 days below that and then a 5x3 rack of icons of the most used apps, swipable dock on the bottom.
I just figured out when I unlock my screen, pretty I am the only one who will see the main screen so I am not sure who I would like to show my home-screen to. Don't get me wrong, what you do is pure art, I just do not see the point for myself.

My guy puts a lot of effort in those too. It's just that they are not suited to Sam's minimal taste.

Newest Nova launcher still does not work properly for me. When using navigation gestures. About use the swipe to home, i need to click twice on an icon for it to open. Anyone know any fix for this. Currently using Microsoft launcher

hey sam...love the vids,(TBH i only recently started watching), do you know of any decent 3D launchers,used to be a fan of next launcher till they got banned from playstore just loved those app drawer animations,most launchers just seem flat and boring nowdays it's the same thing over and over...nothing innovative for years just the same old...minimalistic,wallpaper,icons etc need some phone spice...i currently use nova which i have had for years but only use it if the phone i use needs it...other than that i miss 3D launchers they were fun
This list, and in fact the palette app, is incomplete without inclusion of KLWP setups. Wait, I just remembered that the focus is on Nova Launcher setups, but still.....

I couldn't understand the term " 'x' launcher setups".The launcher by itself doesn't do anything rather we customize it using klwp, kwgt etc etc
I always thought Nova Launcher was overrated. If you notice, the only feature really used is being able to remove everything from the home screen to add icon packs, wallpapers and widgets. It only serves as a blank canvas. You can do this in almost all launchers.

after Android 12 since Google Dropped the navigation support for 3rd party launchers.
It just doesn't feel good to use 3rd party launchers any more.
Animations are so bad, that sticking to default launcher feels like the only options.

@@HAKIMEOVER9000won't the animation be the same even after rooting my phone?
@@paolocirillo5583 there's a magisk module that can turn 3rd party launchers the default one making the animations the same. I'm not completely sure about that but the module name is quick switch if you need more info
But most of these setups can be done in the native launcher. You'll just have to improvise with the dock, which most don't allow you to hide
@@alguem892 the thing is most launchers aren't that customable except for like oneui. Icon packs, grid sizes, etc most native launchers don't have.
It's so good to see Nova finally dead. It's been completely removed from the Play Store now and the only remnant of it is "Nova Prime" which costs money for a monthly subscription.
