- Here is one of several posts concerning rhythm guitar playing in Big Band, Combo and Orchestra published on a non-regular basis. Pdfs are free but due to the raising demands I kindly ask for a donation now. In the past, there were just a couple of requests but the number raised extremly and it takes n a lot of time now to meet the demand. After showing the right hand strumming in previous videos I concentrate here on the most important chords. And there are only nine different shapes! - Hudba
Thank you Sir
You are welcome! If you want the free pdf, send me an email : uli_hoffmeier@yahoo.de
Merci

Excellent! I learned something new today - playing in big band jazz doesn't mean learning a zillion chords.
Thank you very much. Your video is of great help to me.
You are welcome, if you want the pdf, send an email to uli_hoffmeier@yahoo.de

I would love this pdf as well
Please send me an email to send you the pdf
Really nice demo of the nine chords. I hear them but I am a visual learner. I too would like to know the email address where I can ask for your pdfs. They remind me of the Mickey Lewis 4 note chord voicing but these are much more suited to the Big Band Swing voicing.
Email is now published: uli_hoffmeier@yahoo.de
You mean Mickey Baker, don't you?
@@uhoffmeier of course I do. Mick Lewis is a wonderful clarinet player I have worked with over the years here in the greater Metro Toronto area. I have Mickey Baker’s 33 chords photocopied, attached and hanging from one of my music stands for reference. Mostly I play electric bass, double bass and fifths tuning on tenor banjo, tenor guitar and mandolin. I need another 68 years to learn everything I want to learn. I am a reformed clarinet major.
@@erniemee7128 Oh, Toronto! I‘ve played there several times with the „Palastorchester and its singer Max Raabe“. What a nice town! And I have some friends nearby!
How/where do I send an email or DM?
I'm interested in the chord sheets. This is my niche of music.🙂

Hi Ulrich, I would like to apply for the free pdf of the chord shapes. How do I do that?
uli_hoffmeier@yahoo.de
two things. 1, please turn up the mic a bit. It is very hard to hear you. Next what is the email address to get the pdf?
uli_hoffmeier@yahoo.de
I record just with the ipad. Guess I should use more technical stuff, mhm?
@@uhoffmeier no… it’s good enough as it is 👍 great video. Thank you 🙏
Chords with the seventh on bass or not used?
Chord invention with the 7th on bass are usually not used for rhythm guitar in four-to-the bar-style. But of course I do use them when I play more modern comping rhythm or use drop-2-voicings.
Can I please get the chord sheets ? I need you email address to request them ?? Thanks

where's you get that guitar? you kill somebody?
It was owned by Bob Gibbons, one of the Hollywood studio cats like Tommy Tedesco but not so well known. It took a little adventure (and a bigger fortune) to get this guitar...
