Folder structure template: Make the folder structure for the project, then right click on the main folder, and select compress (MacOS). Now you have a .zip file that you can expand every time you're starting a new project rather than having to make the folder each time.
Thanks for sharing how you organize, very helpful!
This was very insightful! thank you for putting this 'out there'
Quick and to the point - thanks a lot! :)
Dumb question but what do you mean by bars? what bars do you put in that folder?
I searched for help with this topic and your video came up first. I see why. Im glad I selected this video because the explanation of it all was exactly what I was looking for. Thank you. Great Job!!!
@Bryan Blackmon 💗
THIS IS GOLD!!!! Thank you Future Chris!
@ShutterBee Photography Thank you for the kind words!
Wow very helpful
On point. All the information in 4min…thanks!
🙌
Thanks Chris !
class video - thanks so much
super helpful.
When you do multi days do the days of each camera go in each sub folder
Good stuff Chris - ta. um - quick question tho. My color grader like to color grade with any effects turned off...hence in an adjustment layer......can I ask which timeline layer you put your effects etc? :-)
great video! i have a question about PP , how to order video clips already in your timeline in alphabetical or date created?
so true , makes you more creative being organized
@jamieway2866 We couldn't agree more 😌
Awesome !!! Love the ASMR !
@However YouGetYours ❤️❤️

The master sequence element has been the most confusing part for me when it comes to creating and reusing sequences within multiple projects. This video definitely helped clear this up for me, but I do think there could be more to explain on this element, maybe directly within the software, or a new feature that auto-creates a master sequence with tooltips on how to create, save, and use?
Just a thought :)
Your feedback is important to us, @R3CRYPT, and we'll share your comment with our team!
You can get extra organized and color code your bins too :D
I have about 4TB of footage, so i need to keep it on my external drive. Do you keep these folder on your computer or your external drive with the footage? thanks
Im assuming you make a template folder that you duplicate for every project
Is there a way to label a bin/folder a color and then anything you add/drag to the bin will be automatically labeled the same bin color?
Try this out. I think it's what you're asking about czcams.com/video/uo-SSlfbsd4/video.html
@@RobertMTeegarden Thanks, but still not what I'm looking for. I want to say make a bin or folder "blue" and then anytime I drag something into that bin or folder, it becomes "blue". And not have to label each one.
I am present Chris.
I also wish to become future Chris.
