I heard they were out to eat at a K.C. pizza place, and no one bothered them with chatting or pictures or anything, and on their way out, he stopped at the door, turned to the people eating and thanked them for giving them their privacy at dinner. And then paid for everyones dinner. I've also heard he's very charitable as well. His folks did a great job.
That's the thing about people from the Midwest or the North like Wisconsin. Nobody bothers any of the Packers players. My sister's college friend/roommate went to church with Jordy Nelson's family. People see Mason Crosby at the grocery store or AR12 out and about and we just don't bother them.

Best thing I loved about this is that he said, "I earned it," instead of, "I deserve it." That's the difference between someone enjoying the things they earned with hard work and someone who feels entitled to everything. I try to instill this concept in my elementary students and am gonna show them this. I tell them all the time, "We EARN things!!" Love Mahomes!! Chiefs Kingdom!!
Compare that with Meghan Rapinoe who said "I deserve this" about the Cup. Mahomes looks barely out of high school, looks like he still has some baby fat on. Nice guy and nice wife/girlfriend. Notice how when he cuts her off, she stops talking. Cute couple. I hope that they will be happy and stay simple, nice and humble.

Patrick just passed Trent Green for the most passing touchdowns thrown at Arrowhead Stadium. Trent Green played 6 seasons with the Chiefs and Mahomes is only on his 5th season but only played 1 game his first season so realistically he's only played 4 straight seasons and he's already passed Trent Green's Arrowhead stadium touchdown record that's incredible.
