If i have 3 years commercial software development experience can i just fet comptia security+ and land a job?
I think your background will definitely help. You can definitely start applying for roles after getting the security+, you could consider the network+ or a cloud cert too
@@BenTruong i was doing network+ initially i keep getting bored out of my mind, cant stick to it. Security+ is completely fine tho. But i hear ppl saying to do N+ first :/
@@soyrah6020 I can totally agree, cyber seems much more interesting to me than networking. I’ll be knocking out the network+ after the current cert I’m working on so we’ll see
@@soyrah6020 Hiring manager would never hire you if you don't know how to do networking. If your boss ask you which OSI layer got breach by hacker or which port protocol it uses to infiltrate your system. you won't have any idea how to respond to it or configure the firewall to block that port.
All them certification almost takes 2years. Wow that alot. Can someone get entry-level with only Google cyber and security +?
I think it’s possible, but you may have to get more certs like the network+, cloud cert, or even another cyber cert
Is it OK just to get all.the Cisco ones or coursera is better 2 u ??
