The google cybersecurity professional certificate actually does cover a variety of network topics. Its a know a little of everything concepts with the main focus being the security aspect of the IT fundamentals.

I would suggest to get the CCNA, CySA+, and the AWS Solutions Architect over the Net+ and cloud practioner...doing them is fine but you may need more advanced versions for Cyber

Only thing SEC+ does is introduce you to the theory and foundations necessary so that you can apply properly towards homelabs, work, and move on to more advanced certifications. If you want a more in depth security+ education, add the certmaster labs.

Here s an advice my dad gave me when I took the ITF+. And that look at the answers before you look at the question. You get an idea what the question is by the answers

Its not a question if it's worth it or not. There are some jobs like cybersecurity that does need it because it's DoD compliant. A lot of networking jobs crosses over with security compliance. So yes, you do need it
