- Funhouse is not only a lot of fun, it's also a little bit evil. We used to have one of these in our cafeteria from our soccer club. I really love this game! Rudy really seems to be alive sometimes. I think this game also beats Road Show and many other Pat Lawlor games. There is simply no good reason to wanna hit Red, Rudy asks for it however with all of his taunting towards the player. Don t get me wrong I also love Road Show but in the end this one is far superiour. I even like it more then Addams Family even when it's lacking a true wizard mode. Maybe because the audio seems to be a lot better and the game seems to be a little more fair to play. Still a hard game though but without some evil magnets messing with your flow. There is a big satisfaction when you get the flow going so nice that you will shoot multiple jackpots in a few seconds. The only downside to this game is when you managed to get Super Frenzy, the mirror stops lighting new features until you drain the ball. Also a thing that Addams Family seems to have. I don t understand why they choose to do this because at that point there simply ain t much to do except for going for the next multiball. And if you don t have the super jets running that can take a bit too long as well.

I LOVE this machine! Greatest pinball experience ever. Many years ago, a friend and I had so much fun with this. We used to take a guy's night out, ROLLS of quarters, and drive to the different arcades that had this. We were trying to see which one actually played the best. We took a mini recorder and recorded all the sounds the gameplay made, and then transferred them to digital samples for my computer sounds.
If I had the space.. I'd probably consider actually buying one for the house. I never tired of playing this.
Can the virtual version for PC still be purchased somewhere? Let me know where, I'll get it.

@@jsv438 That's great news. It normally was not possible to buy it because the licence for Williams games was ended and now it's Pinball FX3 who has the licence
@@RobbyKingPin Well I did some web searching, and found a link to STEAM. On the STEAM site I searched and found a pinball package that comes with a few I guess, but of course all I cared about was funhouse (I think it's "PINBALL FX3"). I ordered the download and tried it! It really works. It's "OK". It looks beautiful, like your video version exactly. It will never take the place of the real machine, but I can reminisce and enjoy the nostalgic memories once in a while. If I didn't find YOUR video I may never have found this version. Thank you! Forever grateful. Rudy can now continue to tease and taunt me on occasion...

@@jsv438 Ah makes sense ofcoarse, well this exact version would never be possible to obtain legally these days, The Pinball Arcade kinda died after they lost the licence

I don't know if anyone will be able to answer this, but does Rudy have less taunts in the Wii version? Either they were removed, or I just suck at the game that much. He mostly just says, "I'm not happy with you," and "I thought we were pals."
Those reactions are time based. You score points and get added time for every hit you make. Once it's 11:30 Rudy becomes cranky and the only way to get time added will be by locking the balls. Once it has 2 balls locked it's midnight and Rudy falls asleep. Then shoot the ball in his mouth for multiball
Imagine how crazy this would be if the rule of Monster Bash applied, i.e. the Frenzy timer freezes during multiball. That would be insane! Seeing Monster Bash came out much later...
Instead of 5+ million Frenzy Bonus, that could be over 50 Million!

heres a fact: if you get frenzy (i think just funhouse frenzy don't know about super frenzy) during midnight, rudy will wake up, but will not starting midnight multiball

I’ve done that several times on the PS4 version of this game.
Table looks like it was lit in the same way that my 3 year old colors with crayons, lol. Terrible.
Maybe some prototype of the LED's we have today lol. Yeah they look quite bad
