God, the old Eglinton bus station at Yonge and Eglinton is so old school. Yes, that terminal closed like 15 years ago, but still. You know what I'm talking about.

It's amazing, I remember those air conditioned Flyers very well. 8484, 8485 & 8486 often ran on my route, I knew the moment I saw one of those numbers (or saw the AC unit on the back) it would be a nice ride with those comfy plush seats. I always wondered why the TTC bought them with those fancy leather seats. It's great to finally have this little mystery solved. Thank you!

Fun fact: The rear axle on the Orion III's also pivoted to help the rear end better navigate turns, no different than the YRT/VIVA Van Hool AG300

Awesome video, great work. Some of the video must of been after 1991 because at 17 minutes there is a red (brand new) Toyota Corolla AE102 chassis that didn't come out in North America until around 1993-1994.

Missing info about the Orion-Ikarus: OC Transpo was the only other company that purchased this model and they also purchased 25 TTC units in 1997-1998 and ran until 2002-2003.
