This disgusting creature breaks your heart? I'll tell you what breaks mine. It's the poor farmer scraping by to feed his family then this over grown garbage disposal ruins his crops so his children starve. These beats are a huge problem.. it makes me sick to watch them rescue this thing for it to strike again. No wonder they are starting to use mouth bombs

The poor thing! He was exhausted from trying to get himself free. You could clearly see his muscles weren't ready to crawl out of there. Did anybody notice the tears in this elephants eyes at the beginning of the video where his eyes were all wet underneath? That made me cry. The Ellie probably had lost hope of surviving, or those were tears of joy that they were there to help. I do feel they should have given him some water to drink. How long had he been stuck like that? I'm concerned about what happens to him now, weak and alone. But a big heartfelt thank you to all those who were there to save him. God bless you!

I felt that elephant was thanking for helping hand to save his life, that's why he was stayed for a while. Hist whole body was cramped and stressed and watching that all is painful.. Thanks to people whosoever are involved for rescuing animals..

That was a good job by the team. But let the elephant breathe after it came out. Its body was crumpled and so the muscles has to ease. Let it gain it's strength. Don't scare it yet. And moreover it's famished. Someone could have been kind enough to offer food and water. It should have been medicated.

Seriously guys are those people who are involved in this qualified to do their job? Its clearly see that the elephant is tired and thirsty or hungry. No one gives it anything and in the whole chaos, some ass throws a firecracker!!! Be more gentle to these giants.

I read these comments and I see there is a lot of ppl judging how the rescuers handled things.. First off these ppl do these rescues all the time so if the elephant was in distress they would know it. Secondly, you want the elephant to be scared of people so setting off firecrackers is best for scare tactic and getting the elephant to get up and move. So unless the people who have these negative comments get off their rumps and computers and go there for an elephant rescue then don't judge how it's done.. I give those ppl credit, they don't have to rescue anything but they do!

The elephant was so exhausted; I could see her legs tremble as she tried to crawl then walk then stand up. Shame on those that died firecrackers! She was too exhausted to move or harm anyone.

Ямы необходимы для сбора воды в сезон дождей. Этой воды селению хватает на большую часть засушливого лета. Так что без ям не обойтись.

Thank you for helping these elephants. I so wish they would go around levelling the holes in the ground, as so many young elephants end up in them. (And the wells too). I also hope they fill in these holes once the elephants are out or they will just fall in them again. Please do that will you. Bless you ALL for showing compassion to them.

After rescuing elephants,plz provide some food and water,which is more essential than threat. But undoubtedly, team who all participated in this rescue operation are great great. All of them are blessed by God from heaven. Thanks to our forest department.

I am grateful to GOD for all of the very hard work everyone does to help the Elephants. But one thing I know. Many times the Elephant is sooooo weak and stressed from trying to free its self which drains vital nutrition and hydration from the body. they NEED high energy high nutrition in small bites and water to help them regain some strength and ability to go back to their home. It is VITAL that you help them this way. I have seen too many who couldn't even swallow food because their mouths had no saliva left in it. someone was pouring water all over the elephant and he was very weak, he put his trunk up to get water and no gave him any. This poor elephant was shaking by time he made it out of the hole. If he would have had high nutrition and energy pouches and some water with time for it to help him he would have had no trouble moving on. I am grateful to you all for all of your very hard work fighting for the elephants. thank you, T.C.

They ALLWAYS do that.. they understamate the elephants ability to understand.. he probably wanted to thank them.. at least they got him out though. That's fantastic

Obviously the fireworks and gunshots didn’t motivate her. These are old methods that need to be put aside. The tree trunk across the whole a great idea. Thank you so much for helping her. I hope she recovers. I understand why elephants get entry at humans with all those people screaming.

What food they have ,soil and wastage small grass which is seen only at some place, you must show some mercy not to burst crackers or kill them or eat them
In that case, how many hours or days having no water, no food, being trapped in there ? An elephant needs about 14 gallons of water per drink and around 200 lbs of green per day !
