    Nice shooting shane. I have the compact version 177 im only shooting it at home 10 meters but it's like a pcp pellet on pellet. Shame i can't send a pic to show you. I now 10m isn't far but if you can't get good grouping at that distance it won't be any good at longer distances.

      Yep very true , I regularly shoot at 13 mtrs in my garden , keeps you in tune and practice , however with my pcp , and latest scope can’t shoot in my garden with that gun as minimum focus is 20 yards and everything is a blur , cheers shane

    For the price, not a bad little plinking gun I guess. I remember making my brother the target holder with a half penny piece at 50 feet, using a Webley Jackal lol. We also used to cover a half pence piece with electrical tape on the washing line the other end of the garden and guess roughly where the coin was and shoot at it. We would get the coin back and would have all the pellets in the middle of the coin...all deeply embedded. Aaah the memories

    They look to be good value,the couple i have seen have had very nicely finished stocks.

    I've seen your comment on Weaponized Hippie's channel that you prefer the Remington over the HW99s. Interesting you say this and would like to know your thoughts why. I've noticed people making a song and dance about the HW99s and I even tried it myself at my local shop. It did feel good to hold and shoot, but I didn't think it was that great that I had to buy it immediately and pay double the price of a Remington Express for it. There is just something about the Remington Express that makes me want to pick it over the HW99s. I don't know what it is. Not sure if it's the ruggedness, the longer length or the lighter coloured stock. I personally prefer the appearance of the simpler stock of the Remington compared to the darker and more elaborately cut walnut of the HW99s, as strangely as that sounds. Not to mention it's half the price of the HW99s, better bang for the buck. Maybe it's something else, it would be great to hear your thoughts on this please!

      Thanks for the comment , I’m not really sure I can answer the question easily , it’s a hard one to give a definite reply to , As much as I like the brand of Weihrauch,and have bought a few new rifles and pistols, think the 99s isn’t feeling so robust , and Weihrauch, think the Remington feels solid and more manly and not sure about the attached silencer , but definitely an accurate gun with the correct choice of ammo and just felt better in my hands , but as with anything it’s all about personal taste and preference, but basically the Remington would be my choice that would make my mind happy , cheers Shane , take care buddy

    That's pretty impressive mate, I keep my Express to 20 yards which enables 2p groups all day. I see you have the Express XP with the plastic silencer, does it make the gun very quiet? ATB PP

      @shaneweightman  Před rokem +2

      Not noticed how quiet it is if I’m honest , the normal spring gun sound I’ve got used to over the yrs, and I’m just editing a video shooting it in very strong wind at my Daughter’s 31 yards freehand , hopefully the video will be up by 1030 pm tonight , if I pull my finger out l o l , cheers for the comment Shane

    That's brilliant for a budget gun The stock looks very much like the smk b2 custom Is it the same gun do you know Thanks Shane

    • @shaneweightman
      @shaneweightman  Před rokem

      If that b2 is under lever I wouldn’t think it’s the same , if break barrel it might be ? Any one’s guess buddy , I’ve never had a b2 , I’ve had a xs 38 , that was a solid gun but within 3 months lost loads of power , bad internals I would guess , cheers shane

    That wasn't bad, for a budget springer and the conditions. Don't be too hard on yourself.

    Hi Shane, recently bought a remington sabre. 22, very pleased with it, how many pellets, before it will settle down ? Many thanks Carl lockpick.

      Depends on the gun I guess but after 2 to 300 shots would have thought it would be as good as it’s gonna get , hopefully using the pellets it likes 👍, cheers shane
