Thank you so much for taking the time to make these VSDC tutorials. One thing that might be helpful would be to talk about how you determine which millisecond values to enter, etc, without having to use trial and error. Thanks again for all you do.

Hi, next-gen blogger I had a doubt about the VSDC video editor.
How to make a shake effect in the VSDC free video editor?
If you know please make a video on that I really need to know how to create a shake effect in VSDC free video editor

Shake effect would require pro features which are not available in the free version. There maybe couple of workarounds. If i found a proper alternative,i would make a video on the shake effect but till than nothing on this front.

I'm somewhat tech savvy, and yet no matter what I do and how closely and mindfully I follow your instructions, I can't get this to work the way you're showing. Something's missing from this explanation. Maybe it works perfectly with two demo videos, but it's not working with my two video clips. I suspect it has to do with which numbers I'm entering into either the time or duration fields. I just don't understand why you're choosing the numbers you're choosing and can't make it apply to my project.

See the duration of the crop effect is 500 milliseconds and it is placed at the end of the first demo video.
I have overlapped my first and second demo video by 500 milliseconds.
First demo video is placed at the top and the second demo video is placed at the bottom.
Duration of the first demo video is 14 seconds 200 milliseconds which means crop effect is placed at 13 seconds 700 milliseconds since its duration is 500 milliseconds so 14 seconds 200 milliseconds minus 500 milliseconds equals to 13 seconds 700 milliseconds.
Right when the crop effect starts working,at that position the second demo video is placed below in the timeline.
I know it sounds confusing but it is actually super easy.

That's strange. Clicking on which option triggers this warning?
